Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful and kind words about Haji-the-cat. They really helped. Cat was also very touched, as Haji was 'his boy', and he really felt the loss keenly those first few days. Thank you.

Our temperatures here went sixty-teens-sixty, so - March is in like a lion, i believe! Crazy stuff. Eight inches of snow down where my mom lives, but no tornadoes, yay!

Supernatural to get a fourth season - wheeeeeeeeee! :) I'm pleased.
My usual beta - Happy Birthday, darkhavens! - is off partying, so i had sweptawaybayou give this a look-see. Thank you, bay-bee! *smooch*

Part sixteen.

*waves* Helloooooooooo out there! So sorry for the long delay. I have been sick, recovering, and then *sick again*, omg. I swear, it's been the lamest, longest season for being sick *ever*.

Plus, it's so damn cold lately - i weep over my heating bill.

Two fun things - my sister introduced my mother and i to 'Slings and Arrows' over the xmas holiday, and i've watched all three seasons and my *gods*, that is so, so *fun*! So fun, so funny, so silly and so touching. I laugh and *cried* and just...loved it. I definitely recommend it.

I'm also on the verge of having watched *all* of season one of 'Torchwood' and i *love* it. Love them all! Yes, i love Gwen, too. Heh. As soon as i see the last episode, i'll be watching the two new eps of season two which i'm a bit spoiled for. But...wheeeeee! A show where the slash is canon - what could be better?

Hello, flist, and a very merry holiday season! Merry Solstice, Happy Christmas, Joyful Chanukah, Blessed Ramadan, Peaceful Kwaanza... I love this time of year, and i hope, for all you, many blessings and much joy. I have no idea how much i'll be around to read my flist for the next few days, but i'll be back eventually, a couple pounds heavier from all the bread and cookies. Wheeeee!

Also - a note about various...stuff, going on in the SPN fandom. I think dodger_winslow had a very good post about it here. I also agree with something someone said in this comment in ellipsisblack's lj.

I think respect - just general, for all living things respect - is a good idea, and something to actively try to have. I'm *not* pointing fingers and saying 'made of fail' at any particular thing, just...the general tone of a lot of fandom, lately.

Hullo, hullo. Well, a long, lovely weekend. We had *snow*! It didn't stick, or anything. I'm still sick, which is lame. Chest hurts. Doctor tomorrow. Probably getting an xmas tree this week, yay! We always cut down a cedar, they smell *so good*.

Otherwise, wow - totally nothing going on in my life. Just...it's rainy and cold, i'm happy, i'm reading/writing/being fannish and doing house/life stuff and...that's all. Got some xmas gifties already, which is amazing for me. Yay!

Hello, flist!

Monstrous continues to get mail, and she really is enjoying it. I'm sorry i don't have her on here saying her 'thank yous' in person.. Anyway - you guys are the best.

It got *cold* here overnight, which is awesome. Alas, it seems to have brought me and Cat both low, especially heinous considering yesterday was Cat's birthday. We had pizza and red velvet cake and a low-key get-together of family and friends. I'll put up a picture when i can.
