Just a quick note for ya'll ....Just posted some more old Buffy work, stuff I wrote with my co-writer reremouse waaaaaaaay back in 2006!! Going to put up few more things over the next couple months, one an EPIC long-fic in the Spike/Xander genre. :D

Okay, so - drabble last, good cause first. Ian is a ftm trans kid (well, 19), and one of the Monstrous Bebe's oldest friends. She met him in...seventh grade? I think? I dunno. Anyway - Ian's been taking T for about six months, and is trying to get a top (mastectomy) surgery. And so has a go-fund-me page set up.

If you can please donate, or please signal-boost...that would be awesome. Ian's a great kid, dealing with a lot of crap (some family stuff, some depression/anxiety), and this would be a big step up in helping with his self-esteem issues as well as just...living a better life.

The drabble is for slashthedrabble's prompt 'Leather'. And I went old school - Spike/Xander. :) darkhavens did the beta *of course*. (And sweptawaybayou did one, too - old-school David/Christian! Leather.)

This is the 600 word edition i wrote (and DH beta'd), but it's not at the comm because the limit there is 500 words. (And i worked 'til 11, it's past 2 a.m., and my brain is toast, so i could *not* cut it to 500. So DH did. SHE IS AWESOME. Read her edited version at the comm

I have missed posting. Somehow, i have suddenly become the slowest writer in fandom, heh.

Before the fic, however, i have a rec! I probably had more, but oh, my, i seem to have misplaced some things. Anyway - I loved season six of Show, and this meta on it really brought home all the *reasons* i loved it, only saying it much better than I could. So please go have a look, it's chock full of links and quotes (stuff i missed when i was dodging spoilers) and references to classic movies. It rocks.

A happy Fourth to all my American flisties - a happy Monday to the rest! Our poor puppy-gog was terrified, so after about three minutes i came inside with her while the Bebe, her cousin, and Cat did the rest of the little stash we got.

RL-wise, I'm doing pretty good. Just dodging the heat. But there are compensations - popsicles and fresh watermelon! :)

Now that we're finally dug out and can get up and down our way-too-steep drive with ease, they say more snow. Nice! Not.

Oh, fandom. FANDOM! Sometimes, you are just the most amazing thing ever. For example....

katekat1010 likes the No More Snakes and Ladders, the post-everything Spander story reremouse and i wrote years ago. *2005!!*

She liked it so much that she did THIS! A collection of gorgeous, amazing artwork, one for each chapter of the story, and two more 'bonus' ones, plus this adorable Tiny Tim icon.

Rere and i are both truly, truly overwhelmed. It's just...amazing! So i had to share.


I also wanted to share this. Monstrous likes to sit behind me, on her Dad's computer, and watch vids and listen to music while she chats with her friends and stuff. These two vids are her current favorites that she literally watches over and over and over.

Twilight review that's just insanely fun, and Twilight trailer spoof that makes me giggle every time.

In between? My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Oh, teh joys of the tween set. :)

*waves* I'm so...boring lately. Only posting when i update, not talking at all...sheesh! It's a wonder anybody's still on my flist.

But! I did get to enjoy a lovely, lovely visit from sweptawaybayou and her daughter sixteen_letters. We strolled around a nearby cemetery, had *bread*, watched a couple movies and talked. About fandom. Wheeeeeeee! Always the absolute best, to just hang out with Snow and chatter. I luffs her.
