Guess having something to do doesn't *guarantee* I'll post. Sheesh!

To be fair, though.... My tale of annoyance! )

All for the price of a Mango Creme Slushie.

Onto the meme!!

You're stuck in quarantine with two people from different fandoms. Who are they, and who  )

Who is the first character that you fell in love with? )

How in the hell did that happen? I swear, this year has lurched and zoomed and twirled along in the weirdest way.....
So, my June Something question the first:

What's a new fandom that you've fallen into since the last June Something/in the last year?

HUH. A memory challenge! Heee.
Well, this is embarrassing. Sort of. I don't think i have? I mean - I've watched a lot of new tv shows/movies, but I have not ventured into fandom/fic for anything 'new' in a while. So many good shows that I simply have *no* interest in reading fic about.

I think, maybe, the newest one would be Umbrella Academy? I do remember reading some fun stories in that 'verse. No shipping, mostly it was family stuff, kind of fix-it or AU stuff where the world didn't end, heh. A lot of Five and Vanya being buddies, Klaus getting some love, kind of thing.

Which now makes me really really look forward to the new season! Which won't be out until, what, end of July?!!!

Anyway - I do believe that will have to be my answer. Anyone have a rec for something they think I might enjoy, feel free! Everyone could use more recs in their life.

Happy June!

Hello, folks!
Well, it's obvious that without *something* to spur me, I won't be posting. So, I shall be doing this, starting tomorrow. :D

The June Something is a multi-fandom non-fest from June 1-15(-ish) where you answer a series of questions about yourself and fandom, one question per day. Kinda similar to Fandom Snowflake in January, if you've ever done that in the past!

You will post on your own journal, no checking in required! And no one will check on you! (That's like the lowest pressure non-fest that exists!)

Also - today is the last day to sign up for the Zombiebang!! I wanted to, but realized the story I wanted to tell was much less zombie and a lot more Bucky/Steve, so.... BUT! I love the zombie trope, and it would be awesome to see a lot of art and fic for this. :D

Hope everyone is well and safe! *hugs*

Heya! Looks like I took a wee break from posting, eh? But - still here, still sneezing.
The worst thing about this allergy-from-hell reaction this year, is *I feel sick*!! My nose is alternately running or stuffed up, my throat hurts (and itches), my ears are sort of clogged and they *also* itch, down inside, I cough, I sneeze, I feel...blech.

But no fever, no aches, I know I'm *not* 'sick', but I just feel like shite. ARGH.
Plus - name-brand allergy meds are *hella* expensive, jeez.

Anyway - I'm back! And I'm going to start off with this movie meme, snagged from [livejournal.com profile] sweptawaybayou. Who, btw, is still *here*. And now she's posted! Go say hi. :D

It's like Cockney rhyming slang! Which, let me tell you, when i discovered that existed as a kid? I was delighted. Me old china. :D

25. Did your mother work outside the home when you were a child? What was her job?

Not really, though she was always busy. My mom trained as a nurse, and was a surgical nurse when she met my dad (he was an anesthesiologist), and then an administrative nurse. So when they got married, my mom kept working for a little bit, and then when she had my oldest brother, she stopped.

This got long. Plus - bonus picture! )

It poured and poured and *poured* rain yesterday and last night, and we got some hail, too, and a lot of lightning and thunder!

Be safe, be well! *hugs*
