I don't have so much of a Connor 'thing' *haven't seen those eps.* as a desire to write a child that is NOT all...lispy and cyewtie-wootie and all that. And the way Angel was with Connor in the eps. i DID see - he held him every minute, so i think that despite his other...failings *hee!* he'd make a really good, if slightly off-kilter father.

On the one hand, I love "men raising kids" subplots in fanfic -- even though I'm *not* a "kid person" in RL, and especially when the kids aren't "lispy and cyewtie-wootie" (love that description). And I agree that Angel (as much as I dislike him sometimes) was adorable with baby!Connor and trying so hard and would have made a really good dad.

On the other hand, I got a huge crush on Vincent Kartheiser the first time I saw him, in the movie Masterminds. So him showing up to play almost grown-up Connor was a bright spot for me, whatever my other problems with the last couple seasons of AtS.

ps ... when I wrote this, your journal was in "read only" mode or something and I hadn't thought it posted. So I was way surprised to see a response! Now I need to go post the comment I wrote for the latest update of Runaway....

Heeh. Men and kids is okay...i don't LIKE kids, don't care for them in my fic much, and really HATE the 'i'll only be fulfilled if i have a kid' mentality. So.

But yeah, Angel was dorkily cute with Connor, so... i can do that.

And Mr. Kartheiser? Hawt, and cute, and sooo...
