Tears ran down my face the entire time I read it. I still can't face the angst to go back and read the last bit. My shirt is soggy.

You're so damn freaking good.

So. Wonderful. I'm telling ya, the more I read - the more I'm convinced that someone should get around to actually publishing you! You, my dear, are *Talented*

I am always desperate now to read your next chapters and look forward to Sundays to get my next fix. This was another sad chapter but also with a little hope - going back to Seattle with the Family and starting to mark off the calendar. Thank you. *hugs*

::sniffle:: poor xander! but at least he's got the rest of the pack with him. spikey's all alone and cut off for seven years. i hope they manage to talk tara into staying. this was wonderful as always.

::looks at you sadly and goes in search of her old security teddy bear:: Damn you're too good at this. ::sigh::

Very good total misery freak-out in the first section, with Xander insisting on solitude to try to hear Spike (sniffles, here, jhow sad indeed). Great job of showing him healing enough to think about the end of the wait and make plans and take action to care for himself and the Family.

Love the Connor bits, for reasons I'm not prepared to investigate. Except to say that having two kids taller than me makes me miss having toddlers.

However?

Next Sunday can't come too soon!

Julia, poking away at my own stuff...

Had me teary-eyed again with that chapter. Xander's pain was just so raw. *sniffle* Wonderful, Tabaqui!

"You are not, querido. You need to eat."

"Yes, abuela," Xander murmured, Derio's Granny flashing in the link and Oz hrummf'd down in his chest, wolfish laughter.

Hee! So glad he hasn't completely lost his sense of humour even though he feels like he's lost Spike. ::sniffles:: Saaaaaaad!

There's whiskey in the jar.

Oh, I can so see Spike tormenting Angelus with this. *g*

Another beautiful chapter, and Xander's idea with the calendar made me want to hug him tight. Wonderful!

you know this takes a loooooong time to read when you cant see the words for the tears.....sniff. AT each new chapter I skip to the end first to see if he's back.....then I start at the top and keep the tissues handy...waaaaaaaaaaa!

I just ...hurt. I need Spike back almost as much as Xander.

Glad to see Xander making plans and finding some way to deal with the days of raw, searing, agony ahead of him.

And now the time of endurance begins. Thank you for the Angel/Connor bits. I'd forgotten that Angel was working a deal for Cordy to survive.

Me, I'm worried about Spike's state when he gets back, too. Jack is so going to owe them for this.

Arrrrgh!!! LJ ate my post damn it!! Deep breaths ... ok, here goes again ..

I felt so sad for Xander and his pain and was glad he had Oz and Derio to help him deal with the loss of Spike. Loved Xan's idea of marking off Spike's years away on a calendar - a palpable way for him to look forward to Spike's return. I am worried about Spike too and how he will be treated by the Fae - plus he's all alone there. I really want him back home with Xan and the boys where he'll be safe and loved. Gald Dawn's gone with the boys and hope Tara will follow soon too.

This story has such feeling - and this was another beautiful chapter:-)

I cried. Warms tears turning cold as they rolled down my face and dripped on my chest and I sniffled, my bottom lip trembling and my husband asking, "Why are you crying?"

I'm so glad that Xander found a difinitive way to count the time. So much healthier than just wasting away. Oh, this hurts so bad. But he will be home soon.
