Well, okay. I already whined about this to darkhavens (and i'm sorry, but i have NO CLUE how to make your name a link)... But i'm all frustrated with where my two non-Changes fics are. I'm actually to the point where i'm wondering if i'm gonna get either of them done before i'm back to Changes every week and that's getting me really, really depressed.
Seems like a stupid thing to be depressed about, but i can't help it. And i LOVE both these fics! They started out just LOVLEY and i flew along, and it was AWESOME, and suddenly....nothing! I guess, with the one, i'm not sure where i want it to go, so that's BAD. And with the other... I know where i want it to go but i'm wondering if it's just entierly too cliche and dull and should i even continue.
Ack.
Plus, my ultra beta, Snoopy, has been half-killing herself getting final exams and whatnot done and is finally, FINALLY ready to graduate, so she has had no time at all to look over stuff and give me a swift kick in the ass. And i know she's behind in all kinds of stuff and i really don't want to just dump these on her and make her even more frantic.
So, i'm sulky, pouty, annoyed, frustrated, and hungry, damnit, and i want a soda but Elf is asleep and i can't exactly drive down to the store to grab a tasty carbonated beverage and leave her here alone! Wah!!!
And Cat is at work until 4 a.m. and i'll be toast by then, so having HIM get the TCB will NOT work! Wah, again!!

Hrmmmm. This is nice. Angst angst angst, rant rant rant, vent vent vent.
Lame lame lame. Hee!

Plus? I want my journal to be a color but don't know how. And what's with the whole 'two journals' thing, anyway? I mean, one is all colors and links down the sides and stuff, and one is just white and blue with entries and comments. Other people's, i add, not mine. Why two? Why so different? How do they do that? And how do you look at someone elses' memories? Can't seem to find THAT anywhere!
I'm just NOT getting it at ALL, for some reason.

An that makes me feel dumb which doesn't help my mood.

On the plus side...my iris are in bloom, more this year than last year, totally cool. And i have chapter 31 - or chapter one of part two - of changes mostly written.

But i don't have a name for part two yet, at ALL, which is...frustrating. And the names that have been suggested don't sit well.

So Wah! again!

I'd volunteer as a stand-in beta but I have half a dozen different fics fighting it out in my head as it is, so it's too dangerous in there at the moment. So instead I will send you tasty carbonated beverage vibes and an LJ helping hand...

Memories can be found linked on people's info pages, just under the bio and above the friends list. Click on the linked number next to Memories and you should find the treasure trove, as long as the entries aren't locked somehow. (At last count mine were up to 318 o.O)

(lj user="username") and replace the round brackets with the usual coding brackets. :o) It's exactly the same for communities too. :o)

You can put any text you want in the cut text speech marks (instead of click here), for example "read about my crappy day here" or "naked pix of Spike and Xander doin' it", but remember, when they click through to the rest of the message, the text inside the speech marks isn't visible, so if it's the title of a piece, you need to put it in the post twice, once in the speech marks and then again as part of the text you're hiding.

I'm still pretty much a coding newbie, but most html code I've used on my webpage seems to work here too. And there are other LJ-specific codes that can be found in the help FAQs.

I'd beta for you, but my grammar is not that good. Maybe you could ask someone to temporary beta for you? I'd get a drink for you too, but by the time I got there from WV you would have either gotten one for yourself or died of thirst. I have faith that both of your fics will turn out great though. LJ is great for angst and rants. Better than holding it in, or unleashing it on the people around you. So rant away!

Heh. That's ok - i'll slog through. Actually, Whorly is gonna look over 'letters' for me but she hand an unexpected funeral to go to and whatnot, so it's all delayed. I'm just grumpy.
