Oh, fandom. FANDOM! Sometimes, you are just the most amazing thing ever. For example....

katekat1010 likes the No More Snakes and Ladders, the post-everything Spander story reremouse and i wrote years ago. *2005!!*

She liked it so much that she did THIS! A collection of gorgeous, amazing artwork, one for each chapter of the story, and two more 'bonus' ones, plus this adorable Tiny Tim icon.

Rere and i are both truly, truly overwhelmed. It's just...amazing! So i had to share.


I also wanted to share this. Monstrous likes to sit behind me, on her Dad's computer, and watch vids and listen to music while she chats with her friends and stuff. These two vids are her current favorites that she literally watches over and over and over.

Twilight review that's just insanely fun, and Twilight trailer spoof that makes me giggle every time.

In between? My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Oh, teh joys of the tween set. :)

Yikes, Twilight--I know a girl who's heavy into that. I got the first book because she ranted and raved . . . can't get into it, and the movie looks bad. Like--bad, reviews aside. Like that shitty movie with the kids that inherited the weird powers--can't remember the name. The Circle, or The--something. Came out two years ago. Very pretty, and very, very bad.

Or maybe it's just the teeny-bopperyness of it all. Myers' vampires sparkle like fairies. In the sunlight, no less. 'Tarded.

The No More Snakes and Ladders artwork? Man, it's . . . amazing. My favorite is 16 (I'm in this weird Illyria phase). Though 22 is especially lovely, and 20 has Tiny Tim :)

Though on second, third, and fourth glances, it's harder to have a favorite. They're all so beautiful.

The movie seems to have surprised people in that it's not as awful as they thought. The actors, etc., pull it off better than hoped, despite Meyers' lame writing.

I didn't go see it, of course - she went with her friends from school and somebody's mom, so yay! i didn't have to.

The books, however - pure shite. The worst sort of self-insert Mary Sue bad!fic you've ever seen, with Mormon garbage thrown in for good measure.

I love the art, too - can't get over it! It's just so freakin' awesome, and it must have taken forever, and.....

I couldn't find a way to contact you on wincest, but I just wanted to apologize for not reading the rules properly.

I don't have the internet at my house, I could only go only for about half an hour yesterday, and I just wanted to get the info for my comm out there. I realize that's a flimsy excuse, but that's the truth of the matter, and I hope you understand.

OH, no, please.
No worries. That comm was abandoned by the mod, and for a while it had a bunch of non-comm stuff being posted, including spoilers, and nobody to deal with it.

So we just got four new co-mods and they're working on rules and things to just streamline the process and make the comms parameters more clear, etc.

It's not a huge deal, but having been bombarded with stuff lately that was non-comm....

Seriously not a big deal, so don't feel bad!

No More Snakes & Ladders is one of my fav Spander fics. I saw the artwork and it was great. I miss your Spander stories, it seems you have moved on, but maybe one day you'll give us another Spander story. Merry Christmas.

It's so neat to have an 'older' story getting attention, and know it's still loved in the fandom!

I'm writing a Faith-centric fic for my Sweet Charity winner, and maybe, yes, one day i'll do another Spander, but right now i just seem to have ideas that are cribbing off old stories or just....tired, so i don't want to do anything that's half-assed.

Still love my boys!
