Poor irresistible Spike almost gets taken by another madwoman, although Those Others are only mad by human standards. Love the chain of transformations, although it was probably a mistake to try to tempt Xander into despair when he had the days between the sixteenth and the solstice to explore that place.

Quibble: Pt. Defiance is in Tacoma and is a bitch of a drive from Seattle- bet you meant Discovery Park (where Daybreak Star Center is) or Woodland Park (where the Zoo is)?

And icon? SO true. Unadulterated torture. More, please.

I'm shaky and headachy and scared and tense and my heart's pounding and I feel like I could throw up. All this from words on a screen? You are too powerful for your own good.

I need to go to bed. Yeah, right. Like I can sleep with all this angsty/painful/aaarrrggg stuff running circles around my brain. I'm so freaking unsettled!!!

Whoa. Damn. That's just, damn that's just good. Xander as Janet is just superb, and I'm so glad Spike's back. Although I get the idea that neither Jack nor the Queen will be too happy with Xander.

What a great way to start the new year. Spike back home. Spike sounds like he's in bad shape, hopefully Xander can nurse him back to health and both boys can have some together so that they can both begin to heal. Looking forward to more of Changes and Snakes and Ladders.

And Jack and the Queen can both/each do rude things. So, is Jack the consort? No, that doesn't sound right. If he contrived to get Spike to the Queen, then he's not trying to get himself to the Queen.... ::is confused:: ::knows it will pass:: ::probably just need to reread - *such* a chore::

Now I'm all rung out. I actually have quivery muscles in my arms and shoulders from being all tense during the struggle.

Oh, I'm so glad Spike's back. Things still look a bit grim though and I'm not sure if the boys are out of the woods yet. Nasty, tricksy fairies - I hope the ice queen gets given a good kick up the arse (or something similar) by someone, preferably Xander:-) And good to see Tara's back where she belongs too:-)
