Hello, flist!

Just a few things i think worth mentioning...

First and foremost, fire_fic is just... *Flails* There are over 140 people over there, offering everything from fic to *hand made truffles*. And with the bidding still going strong for another 52 days, the donations have already exceeded 3,500 dollars! People!! You are all just....incredible. There are so many talented artists, writers, and 'crafters' offering up things over there - if you haven't checked it out yet, please do so!

Also, Sweet Charity is up and running again, so head on over and see what/who you might like to bid on.

My last thing is more of a sort of personal...rant. And it's *just me*, not, you know...anything else, really. I'm just... Man - just *please*, for the love of god, SPN fandom, stop with the horrible, depressing, hopeless fics!! I'm not saying nobody should write anything but lollipops and balloons and fluffy kitties but...come on! Bad enough hiatus has almost another month to go - why you gotta be crushing my soul with death and horror and endless man!pain!?

Also yay for rain! It's nearly fall weather over here, nothing over the sixties and it's been wonderful. No color changing yet but I'm waiting on bated breath.

Well, I've only watched one series of SPN and not read any fics, but it's not really the kind of thing that lends itself to happy fic, is it?

Of course it does!
You can have a story that's just a case, and they find the evil thing and kill it and snark at each other and...stuff!
Or! You can find a *happy* ending to the problems of season two! There are good solutions!!

Perpetual angst isn't our only option!

Yes....away with the man-pain. I've just been scrolling straight past anything which is labelled angsty.

I have been surviving the summer through a fabulous series called "samcakes".
Which is funny and sexy and snarky and has Baking!Sam and Handyman!Dean. And of course I can't remember who the hell writes it.
