Out on the Town...so to speak.

So, July 12-15th, there's this tattoo convention. The Tattoo Rendezvous, up in Kansas City. And for the first time in *years*, we're going! So, if anybody out there in LJ land thinks they wanna say 'hi' to me in person, c'mon down!

Cat's going to be tattooing, i'm going to be...socializing. OMG! Heh. sweptawaybayou is gonna be around, and the Monstrous Bebe! She'll be there! Heh.

Anyway, it'd be fun if people dropped by. You *do* have to pay to get on the floor, but the daily rate isn't high, and there's going to be a *lot* of really excellent tattooists there. Crowd watching is always fun at a convention!

Of course, if you *do* say hi, for the love of all that's holy tell me your *LJ* name 'cause i will honestly *not* remember your 'real' name if you've ever mentioned it. Trust me on that one. I am utterly awful at names and remembering.

All the dates and info are here - i apologize in advance for the awful colors on that page. I can't look at it for more than a minute without clutching my head a la Sam Winchester. Or poor chipped!Spike. Heh.

Hello! Just thought to let you know that I've been reading some of your Spike/Xander fics for the last few days and love them. :)

Are you planning on finishing the wips or have you moved on from the fandom? Just wondering because I don't want to start reading them if they're abandoned. :)

Anything posted on my journal is finished, and i don't currently have any wips going at all so...not actually sure what you mean.

Two very much *older* fics, Little Runaway and Credence were sorta kinda going to be continued but they're 'complete' as posted, and i won't be adding to them. I'm still writing Spander and have two new fics i'm going to be posting soon that i did for Sweet Charity.

Yeah, I was speaking of Credence and Little Runaway. I've been reading your fics on the website and it says that they are WIPs - you might want to remove that from the website, then, as I know that I'm not the only one who tends to avoid reading wips. :)

Good to know! I'll check back for them at some point, then. I've really only started reading fics for Buffyverse this summer, so I've got a lot to catch up on. ;) There was never before a pairing that really clicked for me (I can't stand Angel, he's so boring), but now that I've discovered that I like Spander, I've been having lots of fun with it. I actually found your fics when I read a fic where the author linked to Changes. If you know any good writers of long Spander fics, feel free to recommend. ;)

Heh, yeah, i probably should. You should read through my memories here, then - i haven't updated my sight in a while and there are some Spander stories that aren't even on the site. Of course, the 'Changes' and 'Coyote came to Sunnydale' stories are only at the site...hrmmmm...

I'm terrible at updating.

My friend reremouse and i wrote a *very* long Spander, 'No More Snakes and Ladders', and you can find it here. It's all linked at the end of each chapter. We also have some more co-written Spander at douse_house, and check out trufflemouse for co-written Spander by Rere and savoytruffle. Who also writes Spander. As does electricalgwen and darkhavens... In fact, Darkhaven's comm bloodclaim is all Spander all the time.

Thanks! I found bloodclaim and there a link to one archive site... but I haven't yet combed through it, so I haven't really checked what's in the community. Especially since I try to avoid WIPs. I'll check those out when I can. :)
