Zoned, so zoned...

So, after i got the Monstrous Bebe off to her last day of school, came home and...went back to bed. Until almost twelve-thirty. And then i got up and got the Bebe plus a friend and brought them home, and then went to the post office and got Bebe and friend some horrible drive-through food 'cause cooking for anyone sucks but cooking for somebody else's kid REALLY sucks.
Then, Bebe goes off with her friend and the house is deadly silent. And Cat lays down so he can recover from the dentist. And i write like a mad thing so i can finish the next chapter of 'Changes' and get it off to my beta FAST, so she won't hate me.
And now...I'm just all zoned and weird and...wondering where the hell the Bebe is, 'cause should it take this long to drive to Iberia? Grrrr...
Anyway.
I'm in a weird space.
Will probably work on the next installment of 'Credence' tonight, and might even post tonight.
But i also need to do dishes and vacuuming, so who knows.
Plus - nearly-summer! So the house is warm and muggy and ick.
*sigh*
What a whiner i'm being! Heh.
I like this 'changes' chapter, though. Sorta kinda. It might actually suck - i'm holding off on another read-through until my head is clearer.
*ponders*
Perhaps more lemonade.
Or perhaps i should actully STAND UP. Heh.
Plus, almost NONE of the journals i'm following are updating just lately, and i'm all paranoid and jonesin'!

And i need a new icon and i want SPIKE (knew it'd be like crack) but...can't force myself to troll for photos. Maybe a screen-cap off my lone 'Buffy' season DVD.

I just can't make my mind think of any kind of sex in relation to Vetinari. I just think he'd see it as too demeaning and personal. Though he does like poetry... ;o)

And what did Rincewind ever do to deserve such a fate? Personally, I'm going to wait for someone to slash the Librarian... ::snicker::

Okay, I went, I looked, I giggled insanely and I then had to leave. I can't do it. I cannot read Discworld slash, even though the summaries looked interesting. I am spoiled by Spander. The only other fandom I read is HP Sirius/Remus and that's because it's the OTP of a dear friend, and I promised my beta services when she finally types up her hundreds of fics. ::whimper::

The only two HP chars I can see together are Sirius and Remus, and that's savour's fault. I started her off on slash by introducing her to S/X and then she went off and found her own OTP. And she returned the favour by getting me to read some of the S/R fic she's found and getting me to beta. Gods help me when she finally gets to typing all her work up. o.O

So, did you write Harry/Snape? ::shudders at the thought:: Hee!

Oh, Snape and Harry work very, very well IF you write so that Harry is 18 - you know, legal.
Although there's an underage H/S out there that's freakin' kick ass. But underage with adult isn't my thing, as a rule.
BUT, yeah - go look on my site, down past all the S/X, there are two HP things. :)
