Angel ep update...

OMG! Giddy!Angel! scampering in the sunlight. Lorne singing his people into submission. Gunn all 'ooh, ahh' over the portal trip. And Wes! Yelling 'Eureka!'. Heeeee.

Now - i know that it's cliche but - Fred! So crazy! I love crazy, and she's a very fun crazy. Loved her being all falsely happy for Cordy being made a princess. Heh.

Vain!Angel! in the mirror - oh, yes. We all knew it.
And that's what the vampire demon 'really' looks like? Eh. I like the ears. I also loved the lobby of the Hyperion being stacked and scattered with books - a little premonition of Crazy!Wes!


And...oh yes. Remembering from 'Disharmony' how the motivational speaker vamp said that one of his guys had the potential to 'be a master'. Cool. It IS canon. I don't feel so lame.



In less fun, fairly creepy news - just caught a little CNN thing where they were talking about the BTK killer. Apparently he had a collection of photos of actresses, and SMG was one of them. He nicknamed her 'Sparkly'. Gaaaaah.

Ooh, are you having an S2 rewatch? I just watched Belonging and... whatever the one after Belonging is... too last night! Angel exclaiming about how much fire he's not on is one of the most glee-inducing moments of the show. He spent the post-Darla part of that season looking very stoned, then tetchy, then pale... I do love Dorky Angel.

Fangrrl ramblings are what it's all about. And i've only ever seen Angel season five. Some friends very kindly loaned us season one, and then two through five, so - i'm seeing all this for the very first time!

It's nice to see a happy-go-lucky Angel but yeah - total and utter dork.

Sounds like fun :) I'm just inducting my brother into the Ways of Angel. And my mum and boyfriend. Brother thinks Angel is the coolest person ever, boyfriend has a not-particularly-secret man-crush on Spike (but he got that from watching Buffy), and my mum leaned over the other night when we were watching Wes do his stubbly thing and said "I like that one!" Converting the world to fandom, one loved one at a time :)

I sometimes think, watching S2, that David Boreanaz must have stipulated that he'd be allowed to smile a certain number of times that season. And he didn't get to smile at all for the first fifteen episodes or so, so they had to have him in daft mode for the rest :)

*giggles* Those three episodes are among the few episodes of Angel I have seen and I loved them to pieces. I loved Wes saying eureka too. I fell in love with Fred from the beginning, any girl who loves Taco Bell is good in my book. XD And Yes! Vain!Angel and giddy!Angel! Too cute!

Ah--Fred. In the beginningI didn't care for her becausse she broke up my OTP, Gunn and Wes, but after the end of the series, and going back to watch the beginning, I came to like her a lot. So yeah, those beginning Fred eps make me smile now. She was a cute crazy! :)
