The pimp is here. [livejournal.com profile] pretties_4u and [livejournal.com profile] kyrieane were talking, a challenge was issued, and... I think everyone will enjoy this unique offering of slash fic from a mostly-straight man.
:)

The pictures are of the trip we took last week. We went up to St. Louis and visited The Magic House Children's Museum, the St. Louis Zoo and the St. Louis Art Museum, where a fun time was had by all.

The best thing about the Zoo and the Art Museum is that they are both free, and both are in Forest Park, which a lovely place all on it's own. Parking is even free if you don't mind walking a little ways, and we did not. There is a lot of forest - obviously - and walking from our parking spot to the zoo we detoured down a little path and up into a sort of observation deck that had been built in the midst of the trees. Very nice and shady and cool.

This is, as you can see, a giant electrified ball at the Magic House.

They had sets of two, four and six pullys at the Magic House and you could sit down and try to pull yourself up. The object was to show that the six-pully system was much easier to use than the two-pully system.

Me in the 'Lewis and Clark Experience' It was a sort of obstacle course meant to show what hardships the L&C group had to overcome.

And last, a picture that both my parents and Cat like a lot, so i thought i'd put it up 'cause actually, it did come out rather nice. Heh.

Oh wow, when my stepdaughter was 8 and my oldest daughter was 2, we took a trip to St Louis and went to the same places. I remember the static ball and some sort of slide thing (it's been many years LOL) that went from the top floor, to the bottom floor. We also went to the Science Center, which was really cool except Jordan was two and hard to keep track of.

Love the last picture :-)

*squeeeee!!*

I took all my kids there about 5 years ago for vacation. Such fun. Good times! 'course we had to detour to the Purina Farms also. **rolls around with dogs and likes it**

Uh, okay, well they were real dogs! Not the two~legged kind that buy you drinks and talk too much. *shuts up now*

Great pics, babe! Glad you had a wonderful time.

**smooches**

Am I not one of the luckiest men you know?
She's sooooooooo... everything!

When I first took that picture of her, she was pretty "Meh.." about it, but it grew on her after i stuck it on my desktop for a couple of days, and I'm GLAD she put it in this post because so many of her friends affirmed what *I* knew all the while, it's SEK-SAY! =)

Cheers!

You? Are freaking beautiful!

Just thought you should know.

What a fun time you must have had -- the pictures are wonderful!

My husband used have a summer job in a science museum where he was in charge of the same sort of electrified ball, and he enjoyed making people's hair do goofy things. He took us back to that museum once and made us all do the hair-raising look a couple of summers ago, but we have no pictures (I'm glad for my own sake, the kids would probably love to have them).

The red shirt picture is very nice!

As always, what a lovely family you have.

And what a beautiful picture of yourself. You have such striking features.

Thanks for sharing these photos -- looks like a good time was had by all!

And the lighting on the last one is so striking, helping to create the kind of portrait that reveals something new every time you look at it. You're a study in contracts, T!

Now I want to see the tat on your upper left arm. :)

Oh. my. god. These are GORGEOUS! Thank you for showing them!

You see?

I have so many tattoos yet to do, how will I ever find time to write down the stories I tell myself? =)

Cheers!

Such a burden. It's just tough being multitalented, ain't it? ::smirk::

BTW, the blue-and-yellow yin yang symbol in my icon is tattooed just above my right ankle. Too bad you're halfway across the USA from me, or I'd be asking you to do my next tat.

Yay for tattooed friends! =)

Half way across the country from here? Pffft...
Lots of people come from afar to get tattooed!

Once you use your "Friends-of-Tabaqui-discount-coupon" you'll find that getting tattooed for the mere cost of a plane ticket really kind of evens out. Heck we're likely to take you out for dinner, too! =)

My online gallery, if you haven't had a look at it yet, is at http://catbones.com/tattoo -- enjoy!

Let me know when I should pencil you into my schedule!

Cheers!

You were in my neck of the woods! I used to live about two miles, straight east of Forrest Park. I've moved to south county now though. Being in the city was driving me bat-shit insane.

I have yet to make the Magic House but I go to the zoo at least once a summer generally. I adore it. I love living in a city with its own zoo.

The picture of you is lovely. They're right, it turned out quite nice.

Fun set of pictures. Now I've got to go read the stuff Kyri posted too, and I keep wanting to go sleep. But the reading of things won't let me, quite. :-)

Oooh! Pictures! I've been gone too long. Much to catch up on.

I've been there! It's been a while though. I remember the slide, the ball, and the pulleys. I think the day we were there the ball didn't work very well. It was raining. I mainly remember the building itself. It was a long time ago. I think it was the year "It" came on tv. I remember watching it in the hotel while we were waiting to go to dinner.

My parents took great pleasure in grossing me out by informing me I was concieved at the hotel where we were staying. Gah! Now I think about it and it's kind of sweet. But in junior high you just have certain ideas about your parents. I should have suspected something though, right? They *were* always kissing.

Your Brain is 80.00% Female, 20.00% Male

Your brain leans female

You think with your heart, not your head

Sweet and considerate, you are a giver

But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!

...in case you wondered.
Muahahaha.
