Ok, so I'm reading along, dealing with the four year old, reading... then realize that I'm thinking I need to email Spouse at work to tell him "Xander got in trouble with his job!" And that it's completely silly since Spouse won't care, and Xander isn't, um, in our plane of existance at the moment, at least.
