I'm wondering...

Anybody out there own a Region 1 copy of the Amber Benson movie? 'Chance'? If you DO -

I would very much like to see this movie. I want to BUY it, but no more DVD's in the US! So until I get a region-free DVD player, i'm stuck.

So if you DO own this movie - wanna share? Mail it to me, i'll watch it, i'll mail it back. I will NOT copy it, and i won't damage it or lose it. I WILL replace it if lightning strikes my VCR or whatever and it gets melted.

I'm not trying to gyp Ms. Benson or anybody else out of their rightful royalties, but a region free player is just way out of my reach right now.

I've done this before with friends so we could all see a Robert Carlyle movie that was ages from being sold here. Now it's available, so i'm getting my copy as soon as i can.

I'm just gonna sit here and pretend i have big puppy eyes *which i don't* and a charming pout *the crows'll come roost on that lip! Grandma Kretschmar would say* and see what happens.

I know what you mean. Amber was selling them off her site for 45 bucks! I mean, you buy that poster for 45 (not including shipping) and get the dvd 'free', lmao. No way in hell, man. I love her but not that much.

I have a dvd evilmanicbabble burned for me but it doesn't work in my dvd player *is sad*. It sort of...stops and fucks up the divx player on the computer too...so I only watched it once because I was afraid it might fuck up something else. I'd love to own the dvd, though, so I could actually watch it. *sighs*

Although i'm not sure about it - they got a distribution deal that says no more selling in the US so you may have to have someone in the UK/Europe buy it for you and send it, and then it'll be region 2 or whatever.

i ahve a copy but i know it wont work because im in au and thats region 4 or pal as i had to ask for...

ppl complaing about the $45 i paid 100 au.... but that had a lot to do with the exchange rate, and the money order cost $10... and i dont regret it!!!!!! i saved for it it wasnt impulse buy i couldnt afford....

i taped my friedn a copy but like i said i dont think even that would work becaue i have no idea if the vid would work for u... i have seen it on shareaza recently * its a progam like kazzaa or other download programs*
