Thank goodness. I was afraid Spike had been poisoned or something. He just didn't believe it was real. Thank goodness. I want a Still Room like Tara's. That's so cool.

Oh god!!

I love this, it's so sad what they did to Spike and now he's home and it can get all warm and fuzzy and...

I don't know what I'll do without it. I really don't. I think I might go into withdrawl or something. Love this and love you, great work!

*purrs* Spike's home! And getting better! *pets the pack*
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 06:11 am (UTC)
It's so wonderful that the Pack is finally together again! I am really going to miss this story when it's finished, though. It has been an incredible read.

Damn. Poor Spike :(. Thinking it wasn't real and not knowing it was till he felt pain and stuff. *sobs* I'm so glad he's out of there.
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 06:19 am (UTC)
*cries*

It's so wonderful! I'm so glad Spike's home.

But what do you mean only one more chapter??!! NO!!!
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 06:26 am (UTC)
Done? You mean done with Part II of Changes, right? Then you'll be beginning Part III, right? Right???!?

::sits rocking and holding herself, chanting "there will always be more Changes, there will always be more Changes::

Bah!

*snogs you within an inch of your life*

*does the chair dance of angst/happy/flailing death*

Eggsellent chapter, darlin. Poor Spike *pets him* but he's okay now. And the family's all back together, and it's gonna be happy again. Yay!

Some sort of irony in the fact that I missed this being posted earlier because I was shuttling between rereading "No More Snakes and Ladders" and writing Smith watch Drusilla be charming at the Captain's table, eh?

LOVELY bit, and wonderful, in the end, to find out why Spike was resisting the link. And sad, that he hadn't thought, until that moment, that he was really home and safe.

One more chapter? {sob}... and oh, good, because then I can reread it in one great gulp and appreciate the rhythms of the story fully.

Julia, sleepy, but happy to dream on this chapter

And now we know who the true vampires are. Folks who just hunt to survive don't seem quite so evil anymore.

No, no! It can't be finished! It's-- it's part of me! Well, it feels like it, you know. But sadly, every story has to end, and it's been the most incredible story ever-- It's affected me so much, brought so much into my life, (you being the major thing) You've changed my life...and all because you had Spike And Xander listening to the radio, and wrote it so clear and beautifully it made me cry...

This made me cry too, I was *so* worried, oh god, that it wasn't real, and that Spike was living a night mare. The relief to find out that he was home at last with Xander was amazing.Wonderful job, Star Girl, wonderful!
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 07:36 am (UTC)
::sniff:: wonderful chapter. can't wait to see spike's reaction to the other statues xander did.
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 08:16 am (UTC)
Nasty faries!
I'll never clap my hands to believe in them again. (Gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

Poor Spike! Jerked around for so long.

Eep! The things he discribed are what *we* do to them. Writers, as a collective. *Eep!* I'm glad there are so many happy ending sout there. *hint hint*
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 10:15 am (UTC)
Noooooo..., I don't want it to end! Unless of course you're starting another story ;) Love it as always.
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 11:16 am (UTC)
That was wonderful - poor Spike too frightened to believe that this time his coming home was real, in case those damned Sidhe made him re-live another version. Hope Jack gets his! I will be so sorry when you reach the end of this story - I look forward to each new chapter but I know you'll make it a happy ending - so that will be OK. Thank you.
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 12:11 pm (UTC)
A lovely chapter as always, at last spike came home for real and they can begin to heal.

A bit sad that it is ending but I guess all good things come to an end. It has been a great way to start my Sundays though... I guess I'll make do with all the other great stories you have going :)

Thank you for sharing!

I knew something awful was happening to Spike while he was away, but wasn't sure what. How sad that Jack was such a betrayer, since it was really his gift to Xander that helped them come together in the first place.

All good things come to an end, and so must Changes. I'm glad we'll have one final chapter, that I'm ASSUMING will be all happiness. Please?
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 01:26 pm (UTC)
Okay, One: Crying now. Two: so relieved. Three: what the f#$% do you mean only one more chapter yet? You can't end it! I'm addicted. It's like crack. Only on my computer screen. I'll die if I don't get a weekly fix! ::Sobs::
/rant

I love you by the way. This story always has been amazing and it continues to be so even now. : )

Was wondering what was wrong with Spike. Twisting his memories like that - very nasty. I'm so glad he's home with the family and feeling their love again.

Only one chapter to go - I'll miss this heaps.

Fuck. Making me speechless again sweetie. The intensity and the fear and the godamn fucking relief. ::deep breath::
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 04:20 pm (UTC)
I agree with everyone here, it's such a wonderful story/chapter but also now so sad because it's ending...

I know you have so many lovely stories in the works but please: for us, just tell us that MAYBE, POSSIBLY, PERHAPS, SOMEDAY you MIGHT continue Changes! Lie to us, anything!

I'll say it again, you weave such wonderful stories, why are you not being published somewhere?!
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 04:46 pm (UTC)
Oh, that was wonderful. Wonderful! An absolutely perfect description of the true hell that Spike was in for seven years.

Man, I want to see Jack get the asskicking he deserves.
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 06:40 pm (UTC)
Oh my goodness. I loved that chapter. I thought it was just perfect how it took the pain to make Spike realise that it all was really real. It was just wonderfully written and absolutely perfect.

Please don't say it's almost over! What will we do?
Sunday, January 9th, 2005 07:54 pm (UTC)
::sniffles::

That was heartbreaking! The Seelie were so cruel to Spike and Xander knew it, even without the link.

And Spike, so scared that Xander's statues would move... and then stepping into the sunlight! Jeez, I nearly had a heart attack!

Only one chapter left? Waaaaaah!

Another damn fine job there, sweetie. :o)

BTW - Old Speckled Hen - was actually named after a vintage speckled MG car. And Morland, the brewers, have been making it since 1896 with a unique strain of yeast. The bottle has raised glass lettering about an inch above the base - 'Morlands, established 1711'. (I read everything on the labels at work today. *g*)

YOU deserve to be queen, bring forth the gifts! *hugs and kisses*

*REALLY happy* :)
