Wheee!
Yes, home.
And it's soooooo nice.
*bounce*
Although, our trip was nice, too. It rained all weekend, so we did the RenFest in the rain - whoot!
Very fun. It wasn't so crowded, and the land there is really pretty - lots of trees and things that helped keep the rain off, and all the leaves were turning, so... It was lovely! Got to hang with out good friend Kro, and went to this weird restaurant called the 'Rainforest Cafe'. Animatronic animals all over, and vines, mushrooms, trees, aquariums - it was odd. The animals would go off, jumping around and making noise, it would 'rain' and there were streams and waterfalls everywhere.
Huh. Monstrous loved it.

Now, home, yay, yay, yay. I missed my boys *the cats* and i missed my comfey chair *with armrests!* and i missed my FLIST!!

Off to catch up with what everyone posted and said over the weekend... ack!!

And yes - saw lots of nice looking guys in tights with long hair - a 'pirate' theme seems to be popoular this year! And ate part of a giant turkey leg - Monstrous ate the rest - and did NOT buy lots of things, but DID buy Cat a leather tri-corn hat a la Cap'n Jack Sparrow and he looks SPIFF. Photo soon.

Thank you thank you, *in order* amejisuto, adis723, darkhavens, saifai, justabi, roxymissrose, cleeaz, eyezrthewindows, brujabroom, kattfisk, and mofetash for your words!! *hugs you all*

Oh - no longhand, Cat brough his laptop. But good freakin' gods, typing on that bitty keypad SUCKS.
And sitting up in a hotel bed to do itsn't all that spiff, either.
*hugs flist*
Off i go!!

It sounds like you had oodles of fun!

Can't wait to see the Cat in the Hat ::snerk::

Ooh, and while you were away I was naughty. Not only did I grunge, but I also drabbled Buffy to death. *g*

I haven't received notification of a comment there, but then LJ is having a bad day today so... *g*

I really wasn't going to drabble. I saw the challenge when it was posted and got a little miffed. I was in a strange mood and immediately got incensed that the temp mod was trying to tell us who to write about, instead of giving us a challenge and letting us find our own way. Boy, was I pissy!

So, no drabbling, no thinking about drabbling. woke up on monday, spat out a new part of grungefic, and then flisted and read until the early hours of the morning.

And then [livejournal.com profile] literati disappeared off icq for an hour to eat and... I drabbled like a fury and got the whole lot done by the time she came back. LOL!

But nobody told me the backstory. I don't know how Spike ended up turning Xander and I certainly don't know how Xander ended up killing Buffy! If I ever find out, I promise to share. ;o)

*nice insight into your creative mind/process*

Oh, sweetie, believe me, you don't want to look in my head. It's a scary scary place. *g*

And yes, it was [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday's challenge. I've written for every single one since I joined the comm - 28 sets of drabbles, ranging from a single one, a poem for the challenge 'Poems' to 22 for 'Tarot', one for each of the Major Arcana. o.o

I think the o/c part of my brain just couldn't bear the thought of missing a week and so composed the drabbles while my conscious was distracted elsewhere. LOL!

You should have a go. It's fun! All of the drabble sets I've posted have been for OoS. Except the dozen I did for the drabble meme, which are here and here. /shameless self-pimp. You gotta go see. I did hyena!xander for the first time ever aaaaaaaaand a vamp!xander... or two. *g*

All safely stored in memories, yup. and in order too! *g*

As for hyena!Xander - everyone wants more! Me included. It just kept growing and growing and it's already been added to that list. Hee! And the idea's floating around in my head so it probably wont be long before it appears. :P

Damn, I need to win the lottery. I just don't have time to work when there's all this writing to do!

Yah! - now if you can just get the guys from Changes to go undercover to the Renaissance Fair and dress in, hmmm - glad your back. Cindy Lee

Lucky you getting to see all the pantless men with long hair that looked like pirates. Johnny Depp wouldn't happen to have been there, was he? lmao.

Glad you had a good time. Sounds like much fun was had.

Some guys who could double for him, maybe.
*happy place*

Lucky. Bitch.

Noooo! You! You stop!

No, YOU!!
*headdesk*
Reet.
I must...have cake.
Or something.
And - try to WRITE something!!
Ack!!
*you. evol. thing.*
:)

Erm...*steps back slowly as one would do with a wild animal...then runs away screaming*

Know what you mean about the writing thing, lmao. I keep procrastinating with this AU fic I started. Plus my wrists hurt. And, like, I've rewritten it? 8 times. I think I lost count though. Stupid fic. I hate when I do this.

Uh, good luck on your own writing, though. :p

Oh gods. I wrote the next chapter to 'Credence'. Deleted it. Started it again and again, like five times. Every time SUCKS.
Gah.
I'm right there with ya on the hate.
Good luck to you, too.

Huh. Good to know I'm not the only one who does this, lmao.

Just so you know, I always love 'Credence' when you post...it'll turn out alright.

I suck, you suck...Sucking just...sucks.

Welcome back! Glad to hear that Monstrous liked the animetronics. 8)

My littler boy is kinda scared of the animatronic gorillas and elephants at the Rainforest Cafe. We still go there from time to time (bigger boy loves it, so we compromise) but we have to approach the "animals" carefully, at least one parent with him at all times, and make sure our table isn't too close. The fish are very cool always, though, and he loves the alligator out front.

By any chance did you go to the RenFair here in Massachusetts? I ask because there's a huge one running here right now and we also have a Rainforest Cafe here. I know there's probably that combination in lots of places...

*rushes in and hugs the stuffing out of you*

Don't ever do that again I missed you *sniff* on lighter note glad you had a great time and I'm assuming there will be pics later on? not that I'm nosy or anything ;o)

*smooch*
