Aww, Andrew! I grew to like Andrew. Ah, well, not my story ...

Loved the image of Xander in full hyena mode flanked by two wolves. And Buffy *finally* having the intelligence to just go with the weird.

I'm afraid I'm in the "Wood is a git" camp. I understand the revenge thing, but he suffers from the Hamlet fault of delaying his revenge without Hamlet's excuse of not being sure the Ghost who told him of the crime was good or evil.

Still hoping for some sort of Angel-Spike reconciliation.

I'm trying to think of who Xander might ask for help. Jack doesn't owe him anything, but Xander might think of asking for a favor. And favors from the fey don't always work the way you want.

This was exciting, heartrending and terrifying all in the same breathe, I virtually held my breathe all the way through!

"You killed him, Spike!" right at that moment I had the urge to smack Angel really hard the pillock. Liked the fact that Buffy just dealt and didn't have a hissy fit. Look forward to seeing how you deal with Wood.

You captured the sheer terror and confusion that is Spikes mind wonderfully well it literally radiated off the page.

BTW, something I thought about after the last chapter, with you bringing the boys back into Sunnydale for the battle with the first. Xander's still gonna lose his eye, isn't he? I was remembering the last season, and Caleb's comment to Xander about him being the one who sees things makes way more sense in Changes!verse than it did in cannon.
You don't have to answer, I'll just be prepared to cry. : )

Just finished reading your latest update. I love this story and I'm amazed that, even after all these chapters, the quality of your writing never slips. I just want it all to work out for the characters, especially the pack but I get the feeling that the nasties are gonna keep coming for a wee while yet. Please make Spike stop forgetting soon, though - I feel so bad for him and Xander. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks.

You killed Andrew! I really wasn't expecting that. But Jonathan did deserve more than the ignominious ending he got in canon. Poor sod.

Beautiful images of Xander and the two wolves on the chase (I had to go back and read that several times); loved how comforting Xander was to Spike; loved Buffy in this chapter. I still have hopes that you'll find something to like about Angel someday. My poor Angel, you don't come off at all well in this story!

I started this yesterday, but I was in such a sad mood, I stopped after they got to the basement, in case anything bad happened. I started again today, and it was sad and dark, but not too much for me to handle. I know I harp on this all the time, but I still love that it's Dawn and Tara that are "pack." Poor Spike...I really felt his fear that he would have turned Xander. I'm still sad today, I'd give better fb otherwise.
