Hello! Time for the next Sunshine Challenge. :D This one is Fanwork Recommendations.

Now...the biggest problem with that is that my memory SUCKS. Really, truly sucks. So I have a lot of trouble reccing stuff because i forget. I cannot tell you how many times i've gotten all excited for a fic and then, halfway through realized i've read it before.

SO! To get around this, I'm going to do a little cheat. But first!

Astolat, first, last and always, but particularly for their Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy fics, and their Stargate: Atlantis fics. Homg. They do a ton of fandoms, actually, and their writing is just....
*flails*

Same goes for Speranza's Steve/Bucky fic, and Stargate: Atlantis, The Dead Zone and OMG, Brideshead Revisited. The ultimate gorgeous fix-it fics.

Old-school! big_pink over at Livejournal. They don't post anymore, but their Supernatural fic is all there and just fucking *amazing*. Mostly gen-ish, darkish, and just incredibly clever and creepy.

Then there's Hansbekhart and Ignipes.

You want kinky, dark, crazy, funny? Show and Smallville? Roxymissrose. You want angst to die for and sensual smut in the Buffy fandom? Sweptawaybayou! Man, there are *so* many more, I just....

Of course, to all the people I *inevitably* leave out -I'm not doing it intentionally, believe me!!

Now for the cheat. I can sincerely, and without a bit of doubt, recommend every single author and fic in my AO3 Bookmarks. I don't have as many as some, but. Every Fic. Every Author (and most of the time, every fic by every author).

I seriously love the AO3 bookmarks feature because it makes saving and reccing things sooooo much easier than years ago!

Right? I didn't use it for a while, then i was all 'only the most epic!!' Now i'm like - fuck no! Save the stuff you know you don't want to lose, that you know you'll read and reread. Some people have literally thousands of bookmarks (too many for my tidy brain), but i need to save *more*! :D

I've read most of astolat's TF fic, but haven't ventured into their other fandoms--I'm looking forward to checking those out!

Familiar names there :) I remember some good Merlin fics that Astolat wrote -- I'm fairly sure I have a couple bookmarked at AO3 as well.
