It's the weekend, I got lazy. :D

In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them.
Wow, okay...I don't really go to any specific sites *all the time* beyond the fandom ones. I mean - I research what I write, and so am all over the place there, but nothing that's a daily 'go to'.... So these might not be terribly interesting.
1 - Livejournal! Yes, it has its issues. Yes, they've done some shitty stuff. But this is the first place where I not only encountered other people like me (into slash, into reading, into *writing*, into stories), but the first place I got to share my own writing, and ideas, and 'meta' about characters and stories and writing.
And it...was, is, and probably will always be the fannish place closest to my heart. I have met so many amazing people, i have met my Platonic Soulmate on Livejournal, I have found my space and place and community. :D
2 - AO3! See? Not terribly interesting. But as I've gotten older, my eyesight has gotten worse for reading, and a lot of LJ and DW accounts are just impossible for me to read on because of font size, color, etc. Same for a lot of personal websites.
So not only is AO3 super-easy on my eyes, but it's an awesome archival platform. I'm steadily relocating all my things from my original website (which is impossible to read on, for me, and maybe others, too), and the bookmarking, 'mark for later', and tagging really really really works for me.
3 - Better World Books! Tangentially fannish, but the only place I buy books anymore. It's a huge depository of old, used, and out-of-print books from the US and the UK (including textbooks), which you can buy at incredibly low prices. They also fund literacy programs, fund grants, give money to libraries and schools (as well as books), are a green company that promotes carbon-free shipping, and employ hundreds of people to save hundreds of thousands of books from landfills. Their mission statement and works are pretty impressive.
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.
Oooh boy. Okay. :D ART. I always love receiving original art inspired by my fic. It is one of the most amazing things *ever* as a writer to know that you got into someone's head enough, that they just *had* to create something. So if anyone out there in fanart land has a notion.... :D
Comments! Not just for me, though of course I love them. But so many people have this notion that 'I loved this!' or 'Great story!' isn't 'good enough', or is 'too generic'. But let me tell you - *every* comment is awesome, and we writers adore them. So gird your loins, my chickadees, and leave a comment somewhere, sometime. You'll be glad you did!
A blanket statement for everything I've ever written, but something I'd love, anyway; if anyone wants to podfic one of my stories - go for it! If you want to write a ficlet, drabble, or 50 chapter opus because something i wrote inspired you - DO IT! Just shoot me a comment or email, and link me to the finished product, please.
The more the merrier!

This is beautiful. LOL. I am actually sitting here repeating 'Gird your loins, my chickadees.' to myself and giggling.
