nasty_shrew called Dead Sunflowers. A post-Glory S/X story that starts with Xander in a mental ward and then gallops apace! Very cool Xander-voice and you get Spike, Tara, and Dawn, too! Go, read!
Then, there'skyrieane's Dandelion Wine which is just lyrical and dreamy and strange and lovely. Another WIP but a must-read.
Also a must-read,nwhepcat's Indelibe, which didn't have a name for a while, so it's under 'American Strangers' in my memories. *The first story in this series was called that.* Post-everything, Xander/Dawn in an utterly lovely and convincing way, plus Oz and a major, skeery, and nail-biting twist on the whole 'Key' issue. Oh, yes, must read!!
Last but not least, because i love more than just BtVS and it never hurts to broaden your horizons, Na Goshi is an incredible and sexy and sad and scary and so, so beautiful LOTR/rps-sorta story byabundantlyqueer. We have demons and gods and a Buddha and all manner of strange and lovely things. You'll love it - really. Not so much rps as 'i want this character to have this very pretty face'. So don't let that squick you.
On a more personal, whiny level - the signal to noise ration in my inbox *stuff i wanna read versus spam* has increased DRAMATICALLY in the last week. It's gotten utterly insane. As an example - if i normally got 50 emails in the morning, 20 would be 'inbox' and 30 would be 'trash'. Now it's more like 5/45. And so MANY are Korean and Japanese - can't read 'em, have NO clue. Pretty girl, weird cartoon guy, lots of exclamation points, the number 20%... WHAT are they trying to sell me? Pr0n? A new car? A mortgage? I'm confused. *sigh*
