Everyone has, by now, seen my pretty, pretty icon. Made for me *MINE!* by [livejournal.com profile] adis723. So go and worship.

Also? Yet another pimp for [livejournal.com profile] kyrieane, who keeps writing the hot, the beautiful, the...REALLY GOOD STUFF. Go read her Giovanni, lovely S/X...
And she's added another part! Of Sand and Stars and Moonlit Words comes right after 'Giovanni'. *swoon*

And, my dearest Ms. Thang, [livejournal.com profile] roxymissrose has been writing Smallville stuff. And it's so very delightful and hurty and good.
So go check out Exiled.

And - one more!! Go read Survival Instinct by [livejournal.com profile] camisha. More spiffy S/X!

And now... Well. I don't talk about my 'home' life here much. Perhaps i should. Perhaps that would be and interesting and enriching thing for my flist.
*snerk*
Riiiight.
Anyway - k - a slice of Tabaqui home-life:

Had chicken fried rice and potstickers for dinner last night. Mmmmmm...potstickers.
Now, i know they're SUPPOSED to stick to the pot - er, pan. I mean - duh! Name! But - are they supposed to be irremovably welded to the pan? Hrmmm. It said two teaspoons oil, half cup water, stove on high, cook until all water is gone. There must be a better way.
Also, my stove caught on fire while i was doing that. There was much sotto vocce cursing and flinging of baking soda.
Gods teeth i despise cooking.
Anyway.
I'm off.

Hey, what do you know, my stove caught on fire just a couple of days ago, too -- I have very little counter space so I have the *very bad habit* of putting things on top of the stove. As you might expect this can lead to -- bad things. I put my cookbook down on the front burner and put a pan on the back burner. Well, the idiot that sometimes takes over my brain turned on the front burner by mistake. It took a few minutes to recognize that the smell of scorched plastic was coming from the cover of my cookbook as it slowly roasted... I really hate cooking too. Why oh why aren't I rich enough to afford a live-in cook? Or just have yummy food delivered every day?
