Whooo hooo!

I am *so excited*!!! VERY SHORTLY, sweptawaybayou is going to arrive at MY HOUSE!

And then we're going to hop into my car and drive to St. Louis! Snow's daughter has ever-so-graciously procured a room for us (at no cost) there, and tomorrow we shall see the Zoo, the Art Museum, Forest Park, Soulard Farmer Market.....

We plan to eat oysters (well, Snow, not me - i'm for scallops!) and walk around and TALK AND TALK AND TALK! :)

The last time we did anything like this was the Writercon in 2009. Too long! So I won't be around for a few days - back home on Sunday. EEEEEEEEE!! :)

Also, a few nights ago, bored and awake, the Monstrous Bebe helped me to cover up the washed-out red and blue and pink locks in my hair with a nice, rich purple.




Not so easy to see in the picture, but it's several nice shades of purple, depending on what it's cover up.

While you're at the zoo, make sure to pay the extra bucks to get to pet and feed the stingrays! It's awesome!

Ah ha! We did pet them, though we opted out of feeding. We also got to pet a couple of the sharks, they were pretty not-shy.
