Well first, inspired by
roxymissrose, i'm putting a link to a picture of the Monstrous Bebe. 'Cause she's so damn cute!
This is one of her new sets of school clothes and she was just so excited about it!
Monstrous Bebe
Mommy's girl!!
Second, i had a freakin' dream this morning/early afternoon when i lay back down. (Stayed up chattin' with
chocgood84 and was just. So. TIRED.
So i lay down and then i had this
Okay, i've read in various posts on my flist about people dreaming about LJ, dreaming about BtVS, dreaming about Spike, Angel, whathaveyou. The last dream i consciously remember having about a 'famous' figure was about three years ago i dreamed i was watching TV with David Bowie in my parents bedroom at my childhood home. Too weird.
Anyway. I dreampt that 'Spike' (not Mr. Marsters) was dead. And he was lying on the ground behind my house. Where there is a barb-wire fence and then lots of trees. And i mean...DEAD. A corpse so far gone that when Cat and i picked him up he fell apart at the waist and was slimy and horrible in my hands. I know, i know, vampire=dust, but there he was... Red shirt, leather duster, jeans, boots...gah. I had to pick him up and get him over the fence - we were trying to get him out into the woods so the little scavengers could take care of him. *shudder* It was icky.
THEN! We're back inside and there's SPIKE. Red shirt, etc. Lying on my floor, and we have to wake him up and he has NO memories and in that weird folding of dream-time, soon he is an actor in a tv show, small parts but getting better, still in the red shirt and duster, all happy and bouncing around and i'm on the set for some reason and the awful, disintegrating corpse keeps popping back into my head, all stuck with dead leaves and... It was weird, and left me slightly unsettled. And pouty 'cause no sex of any kind was had.
*Yawn* Must go finish WAY too much stuff. Jayzus i'm behind. 'Changes' chapter, S/X pornathon fic, tag on
wts_tagstory, maybe, possibly, today, update 'Credence', attempt to ignore two hovering, biting, annoying plot bunnies that have ALREADY forced me to write paragraphs...
ACK!

Way weird dream. And no sex! Now, that's just odd. ;)
Go have a kip and then everything will be just fine. The writing fingers will be in good order and pretty updates to come. :)

Gotta go get the Bebe from school and pay a bill, ack, and take back some clothes that are the wrong size, double ack, and get some sort of dinner that i can hopefully shove in the microwave *good GODS i hate cooking* and take back movies...
*sigh*
All i really wanna do is write. Why can't i win the lottery so i can pay someone to cook for me? And dust, damnit.
*oh, right - maybe i should buy a lottery ticket*
:)
Thanks! She's my sweetie.

*looks around at grubby house* Maid! I need a maid! I'd be really nice to her/him and pay money and everything.
You know the Quentin Crisp theory? Just leave it for long enough and the dust doesn't show. I like that. :)
Of course she's your sweetie! She's lovely.
I bought a lottery ticket. I got naff-all. :(

Cooking sucks. I loathe it. I've loathed it forever. I mean, nearly twenty years of marrige and it STILL SUCKS.
And a maid? Would rock. 'Cause i also hate vacuuming. Yuck. Stupid carpet - i want it GONE.
I decorate with rocks and skulls and things - once every six months i can just put everything in the sink and wash it. Heh.
Thanks! M.B. is awfully cute if i do say so myself.

Ooh, vacuuming, or, as the poms like to say, hoovering, is just uncomfortable. It's not natural. *shakes head* Nope, there are better things to do with your time.
I'm having the whole house done out with hardwood floors and none of the carpety nonsense.
no subject
Gods, i wish we could afford every scrap of carpet to be ripped out and replaced! Hate, hate, hate carpet, hate stupid vacuums that DON'T WORK, hate stupid lino that has little divots in it as part of the design so it holds dirt like a damn sponge.
Blah!
:)
I wanna new house.

Also, gravel caugth in your trainers can damage them.
But yes, way easier than carpet on the whole.
Though there's the whole rainforest destruction problem - I worry about such things.

Anything!!
Hemp boards, damnit.

My youngest baby is 15! Enjoy the little one.

Once again we demonstrate our twinny-ness for I are too a plaid and argyle lover!
I own the most enormous collection of argyle socks this side of Prince Charles wardrobe! *hugs you mightily!*

Eeevol brain-twinness strikes again!!
Hee.
I have lime-green-and-brown-and-white argyles that i stole from my dad. HA!

'We're so young and pretty...
we're so young and clean...
So many place we have never been...'
Heh.
evil twins of argyle
Mostly cause I was already scared of your nasty disintegrating corpse of Spike image, double helping of yuck there.
And cause I'm too lazy to make an original comment. Your Bebe is too cute! I just love that age and the getting to dress 'em up part.
*smiles fondly*
Re: evil twins of argyle
Argyle is not evol!! It is...comforting.
:)
And thanks! The Bebe is a sweetie...
And yeah, the corpse thing made me a little shuddery too. Gods know why i'd dream about that! Glad he came back to life!

Ummm.
Reet. Sorry.
:)
And she is cute but damn - it's not even the 'you're not wearing a miniskirt' thing so much as 'is there NOTHING SUITABLE IN THIS ENTIRE STORE FOR A SEVEN YEAR OLD TO WEAR?!!'
I mean - low-rise jeans and belly shirts and minis and pants with things like 'Angel' and 'Cutie' across the butt?
No, thank you. I end up buying M.B. boys shirts and pants sometimes, and larger sizes so she's COVERED. Lots of capri pants, too.
That skirt works 'cause it has shorts attached.

My friend with the two daughters feels your pain about the clothes shopping -- and her mother has joined the consumer conspiracy and *bought* her granddaughters some of those pants -- the 7-year old demanded them while she was visiting Nana and Nana caved. My friend was furious.
The weird thing is that these girls (I feel like they are almost nieces to me or something, they've lived next door their whole lives and my boys play with them almost every day) are so fashion-conscious at the ages of 5 and 7. They know what looks are "in" and they even know the names of some designers. They don't get this from their mother, that's for sure! It must be coming from school. One day my friend was reading the paper and her elder daughter saw an ad for shoes on the back and got excited -- because she recognized the name Jimmy Choo! Now why should any 7-year old know Jimmy Choo's name?
no subject
:)
My mother knows better and, lucky for me, is just as horrified as i am.
And...*I* don't know who Jimmy Choo is, so yeah, that's sick and wrong. My daughter *also seven* has a concept of 'cool' right now, and mostly it involves those 'Bratz' dolls. She's heard my 'you can dress like a slut when you're 21 and not living at home anymore* rant often enough to know better than to ask for 'those' kind of clothes, and her cousin breaking her leg because of the damn PLATFORM SANDALS her mother let her wear has made her re-think her shoe choices. Sorta.
Hehe.
I'm just a mean, mean mom who tells her 'no' and walks away.
BWAAAAAAahahahhaa.
And yeah, school as a den of influence that i do not approve of really, really sucks.
no subject
But yeah, bad mixed signals with the youth fashions.
no subject
17, then.
:)
No shoes for you young lady
I have to confess I'm a sucker for shoes so some of the footwear choices we make are not made in the name of safety!LOL
Re: No shoes for you young lady
Re: No Choos for you young lady
I think you're right!!

Does that work? My linking skills aren't great.
I haven't read it yet - huge backlog of fics awaiting me.......
I just thought your mention of dead leaves, and the link with the Spike/Buffy fic might have indicated that that's what sparked the dream.
