Hello! Just thought i'd pop in, wave a bit.

There is currently *so much* going on in fandom! I have so many tabs open and bookmarks and am subscribing to people left and right on AO3. Too much fic, not enough time!!

And then there are bigbangs and spn_summerfling and soon spn_summergen and xoverbangs and ALL THE AVENGERS FIC, and omg, pretty much all The Losers fic, too.

Hiatus is so good for reading and finding new fandoms.

So, yes - saw Avengers. Loved it so, so much. Saw it again today, and i was the only person in the theatre. YAY. The first time was the midnight show, which was fun, but the audience was noisy and i missed stuff. This time - wheeee!

And then there's The Losers, which has Papa Winchester and Human Torch/Captain America who is called *Jensen*, so my poor brain just sort of...fizzles. But the fic is excellent. :)

And just last week, Falling Skies started this past Sunday. Am i watching in a vacuum? Seriously, how has fandom not fallen in love with this? Post-alien-invasion apocalypse! Grim survival with guns and motorcycles! Tough, hot women with guns! Hot boys with brothers and angst! I mean, seriously - the xovers with Supernatural alone could be *epic* - c'mon fandom!!

Anyway. I finished my spn_summergen story *early*, yay, but am still plowing along on my charity fics. Yeesh. So ready for this slow writing phase to be *over*.

Other than that...it's nearly summer here, it was nice for a while but now we're locked in AC, blech, and since Monday, Cat and the Bebe have been in California, visiting the Deviantart people and having a blast. Tomorrow, the Bebe sees the beach for the first time. Wheee!

Hope my flist is doing well - hope you all are having a decent nearly-summer. :)

I also adore Falling Skies and do not undeerstand why it has not been abordbed into fannish space. I'd hacve thought some of the SG peeps would be tuning in for Colin Cunningham. Maybe some of the Sanctuary people will come over now Ryan Robbins is in this season? I can only hope it gets more of a fannish following.

I could not get involved with Falling Skies. When 15 minutes into a show I don't care who lives or dies, I change the channel. This summer for me has been Longmire and I'm waiting for the new season of Sons of Anarchy (Hamlet on Harleys!). September needs to be here now!

Nearly summer? Crazy woman, it's been over 90 degrees here for at least the last month and a half. *grins* I adore summer. It's my favorite time of year. I hate having to cover up at all.

Yes to the Avengers, and I had to go through Jeani to get the good fic, thank you ever so, no hook ups from you at all *glares*; but you're reading The Losers, too! I adore that tiny little fandom. I've probably read everything there. I am a huge fan of Jensen/Cougar. I adore Clay.

I've seen the commercials for Falling Skies, but you know me. I tend to wait for you guys to check something out and tell me it's worth it before I jump in. Well, except for Leverage. I was therefrom day one. I am so far behind in my episode watching on about three different shows, that I really don't need to add another...

I am so glad you are all doing well. I'll Keep Cat and Bebe in my thoughts while they are away. Behave, you!

Tonight is the summer solstice so - tomorrow = first day of summer! I utterly loathe and despise summer and was hoping for much more *spring*. Maybe it will be an early winter.

I've been surprised I'm not hearing more about Falling Skies too. I'm enjoying it immensely (although I'm annoyed with the unreasonably long hiatus.) I haven't been especially inspired to write any fic either, but I would read the he'll out of it. *nods*

The Losers. It's one of those good movies with great fanfic. The fandom reminds me a little of the boondock saints fandom, back in the day, like 3 years after the movie came out, the fandom really boomed like the Losers fandom is right now.
