Fic Auction for the flood victims in Australia.....

Hullo!

You may or may not know, but Queensland, Australia, is in the middle of some 'biblical' flooding - an area the size of Texas and New Mexico is under water, with no end to the rain in sight.

People are dying, missing, losing every single thing they have. I have a very dear friend who lives in Bundaberg, QLD, and while she and her family are safe, I can't help but want to do *something*.

So - I'm auctioning fic at qldfloodauction. Here is my post, you can place your bids there. Please read the community rules/instructions and be sure you understand them.

Please help - these people are literally drowning. Anything you can give will be of use. Or, if you can't donate, sign up and offer your fic, art, crafts, whatever you have.

Thanks for doing this Tabaqui. I have friends in a devastated area that I am desperately trying to contact, others that have lost everything and my Dad narrowly missed the worst of it - it's truly heartwarming that the world is reaching out to help. *hugs*

That's a great thing you and others signed up are doing. I live in Melbourne so not in the danger zone myself but my hubby's family are from Queensland and my ex-brother-in-law lives up there as well.
