Hello! So - i hope everyone has survived the 'silly season' and come out the other side relatively unscathed? We had a lovely Xmas/New Year, neither of which were loud or filled with people or parties, both of which were just...nice. Family. A smidge of snow - wish there'd been more!

But now, we're back to routine. School's in session again, the Bebe's room is a mess, the space heaters are working overtime. We might get snow again! Yay! It's been a very dry winter.


sparrow2000 has been posting some lovely Buffy recs - updating a list from 2006, so there is a mix of old and new. She's done 'angst', 'kink', 'crossovers' and 'h/c' so far, and doesn't show signs of stopping! :) Since she rec'd *me*, I've had a look at my website and realized how desperately it needs an overhaul. So i'm doing that. Slooooooowly, one page at a time. So forgive me if you find broken links or anything - i'm getting to them, i swear! I'm going to change the background/text colors, too, as soon as possible. I can't read my own site anymore! So sad.

Speaking of recs - reremouse, who set a *very* high standard of Spike/Xander fic in the past, has edged into the 'Glee' fandom. Kurt/Puck, for those in the know. I highly recommend any 'Glee' fans on my flist go and take a look. You'll be glad you did. :)

In other news...there really isn't any. I'm doing my best to finish a number of fics. It sucks it's gotten *so hard* to do that, but i *am* writing, and i *will* be posting fic. Rawr!


Looking forward - *spoiler free* - to the end of the Supernatural hiatus. I am *loving* season six so much - can't wait to know what happens next!

I also mainlined all eleven current episodes of Detroit 1-8-7. Oh, man. I *love* this show! Love the characters. Just...love. Police procedural, yes, but.... *hands*

Diametrically opposite 'Detroit' is Hawaii Five-O, which, between the cast and the scenery, gives me my week's quota of 'pretteh' right up there with Show's boys. It makes me roll my eyes, but i cannot. Stop. Watching. Yay for fun shows!! :)

When does the show come back? I pretty much have no reason to visit the CW until Supernatural is back so I keep missing any ads that may inform me of it's return. It's a vicious cycle.

Sure, why not? I don't read a lot of fic in that fandom, really - i like Danny/Steve but gen is even better - i love the team/family vibe more than the slash vibe. :)

Aw thanks! A tabaqui rec is worth its weight in slashy goodness. Or something like that. For what it's worth, I'm also doing Kurt/Blaine because Kurt kind of grows on you like that. I'm still working on the Spander too but - y'know - slow going. Argh. And Glee is so...sparkly.

Heeee! A good writer always deserves the recs! I've watched a few Glee eps, and i liked it well enough but just not enough to go all out. I do adore the actress that plays the coach. She's also the mother of one of the profilers on 'Criminal Minds' and she is just awesome.

Yes - the writing is so sloooooooow right now. I dunno what's up with my brain. Arrgh.

Any time, bb - a good recs list shows the love of the fandom, and yours are rockin'. :)

None of the links should break - i'm basically doing stuff like - making sure the chapter links work - which they didn't in Compass Rose - getting the back buttons to actually show up, and changing the background/text color to something less hurty.

Feel free to check, though - but hopefully i won't mess anything up. :)

I love Detroit 187. Hawaii 5-0 is so bad, but I watch it for Daniel Dae Kim and Boomer from BSG. Heh heh. Hawaii's pretty. I might have to go there and look for Daniel while I'm there.
