So many things to put here! Things that might only be of importance to me, heh. Firstly, let's see....
roxymissrose finished her awesome Sam/Dean fic, a retelling of how the Colt was made, with all sorts of interesting blacksmithing lore and Show characters and OC's that you'll love, and...well...just go read it! Really!! Non Timebo Mala.
*I should rec some other stuff in my next post...so many good fics!*
Next, an absolutely wonderful little musing on the season five finale of Show. It's short but sweet and really very cool. Abashed the Devil stood, And felt how awful goodness is by
blackcat333_99.
And then, what I thought of as a spot-on and very excellent review (and musings) about episode one of the new season. Response of sorts by
de_nugis. What I wanted to say, but of course without all the rambling and disconnected babble.
Both
mimblexwimble (here) and
destina (here) had good, smart, and ultimately *happy* things to say about episode two.
I know, i know - happy happy joy joy! Some of you aren't feeling it. But i am, and i really wanted to share posts that say what i was feeling as i watched. I'm sad when my flist posts reviews that are unhappy and non-Show-enjoying reactions! It hurtssss uss, Precioussss!
*cough*
Anyway. Also! Mudlarking. It's something some very cool, very smart, very *careful* men and women do up and down the Thames at low tide. I WANT TO DO THIS!! This site is a little weirdly put together, but it makes me all *flail flail*. I can't take a walk by a creek or into a wood or across a field without coming away with my pockets crammed with rocks and sticks and bones, and my hands cradling interesting leaves and seed pods. So - yeah. Is there a mudlarking holiday, i wonder...? :)
sweptawaybayou was gone this week, doing her cool Colorado thing. But we missed her! A lot! Now she is home. *smishes her* It's cold at night, now, and we have flannel on the bed and *nothing* is nicer than snuggling down into your cozy, soft covers on a chilly night. Yay, autumn!!
I'm still working my way, slowly but surely, thought an incredible backlog of stories - just as i thought i'd gotten it under control after Big Bang, along came the Kamikaze remix stories! And Summergen stuff, still, and, just...*flail* And now that Show is back, the fic is flowing hard and fast. Wheeeeee!! But i'm so behind.
Anyway, that's my big update for the evening. That no one will read. Because Show is on tonight and you're all making popcorn and huddling around the tv.... Ah well. :) I'm gonna go do that myself, in a minute.
*Still writing, too, i really am, no, really!!*

YES! I would love to see 'your' Colorado with you - that would be so awesome! I never cared for Denver much, but the *mountains* and the wooded slopes, the rives and lakes...yes.
*twirls with you*
SHOW!

I have been liking Show so far, but if Gamble kills off Lisa she and I are gonna have words! Dean is actually getting a life and growing up and I cannot and will not begrudge him that after everything that's happened.

I just can't see it happening. I think they've got the vibe from fandom that we *like* Lisa, and killing her would piss off the Beast. Heh.
*crosses everything*

So, i hope these reviews kind of point out the good and make people feel more optimistic. :)

Hihi!
I could be a Mudlarker full time!
We were all 'should we do the flannel? Is it too soon? Yes? No? YES!' It's awesome.

Flannel sheets are the best thing in the history of ever, when it's cold. :)

Flannel sheets *rock*. With an electric blanket when it's *really* cold. :)

How is there so much fic to read? I thought things were under control, too, and then BAM! I am hundreds of thousands of words behind and there's more every day. I love it! *bookmars rec*

I luff my boys. I have faith. I'm not judging, or at least - not judging very harshly. I am, and always have been, glass-half-full girl.

Flannel! I adore flannel! :D

And yes - it's canon now, no matter that we didn't think it should go that way or we've read fic where it was better/different/didn't happen. So, let's just go with it and see what happens next!
Flannel roxors. :)

And the heck with everyone else, I'm fiercely enjoying the new season because the alternative is no show at all, folks, and no one wants that. Change is good, and we should expect change. The only thing I hope for is for Sam, and Dean, to be SamandDean again. Waiting for that to happen is part of the adventure. ;)

You deserve anything nice i can say about you, and *more*.
I am *loving* the new season! Everything! We have so much to look forward to, yes! SamandDean will ride again!!
