Hiatus, it is nearly over!!

So i'm posting a few bits and bobs of things that i've 'collected'. Firstly, two people had little drabble-prompty type posts up and i did a prompt and so got ficlets! Yay!
A little Sam'n'Dean from
witling, full of teh angst, but excellent. My prompt was just 'Supernatural', so she had free rein. And then something a bit more light-hearted from
kellifer_fic, when i said i wanted the boys being boys and John about to toss them in the river in a sack. Heeeeee! Thank you, ladies.
Then,
lunabee34 had this 'i'll ask you some questions' meme thing and i just....felt like it. :)
1. Do you have a garden or grow plants of any kind? If so what do you grow and what's your gardening philosophy?
I don't have a garden. I have a patch of bricked-in um....dirt, for lack of a better word around my front porch. The previous owners made it and put i don't know what in it. It was mostly weeds and a huge mullein plant when we moved in. We cleared it out and transplanted all the mint from the yard into it, so it's now mostly full of mint, and some lilies my mom gave me for my birthday. My philosopy? gardening makes you *hot*. And there are bugs that will nibble on me and make big welts. I don't actually like gardening at all. I like bulbs and things that grow on their own, and ground cover that takes over so no weeding is needed. I also don't water. They have to be tough plants or native stuff. I do *not* have a green thumb. But i'll pay someone who does to make things pretty! :)
2. What is the most unusual and interesting tattoo you've ever encountered?
Hrmmmmmmmm....that's a tough one. Mostly 'cause of my sucky memory. I think the ones i've liked best have been ones that are big, epic tattoos, like all the main characters from a tv show or movie with appropriate background and such that totally cover a back or an arm. I also will always remember the first really neat tribal piece i ever saw, before it got so popular. It was on a guy's ribs/side/hip, and it *totally* fit his body and was just really amazing and sexy. You hardly ever see tribal that *fits* the body it's on.
3. What's the one adventure you didn't write for Spike and Xander that you wish you had (or still might get to one of these days)?
Xander post-hyena who never really recovered, who is still a bit hyena and a bit alienated from the Scoobies, who meets up with Spike and Angel and Dru and...stuff ensues. I actually have the start of it on my hd. I need to work on that.....
4. Perfume--love it, hate it, indifferent? Have a favorite scent?
Mostly hate it, as most people seem to only know how to bathe in it, rather than wear it. A lot of perfumes give me an instant sick headache. Most of the perfumes i put on me change once they're on and my body chemistry makes them icky. Exception? White Shoulders. My mom wore it, i wear when i wear perfume, and i adore it.
5. If you could travel anywhere in the world for a vacation, where would you go and what would you do once you got there?
Scotland!! And mostly i would wander around in a daze, soaking it all in. Walking on the beach, in the hills, just breathing a lot and getting sniffly and collecting rocks and leaves. My dream Scottish holiday is to take a walking tour. I read up on it. It started in Edinburgh, i believe, and you could go all the way to Loch Ness or John O'Groats. Walking the whole way, and camping or staying over in bed and breakfasts or whatever, your choice. Heaven!
*and, um, i'd dearly like to spot Mr. Robert Carlyle on the streets of Glasgow, but that would be extra....* :)
And, lastly - mostly lastly - for some strange reason,
essene wanted to see the contents of my purse. Ha! I told her it was boring, but she insisted, so....

See? Dull. There's my bag, and then...let's see. Check book and pen, my wonderful Kitty-face wallet whose zipper is dying, which is a huge *woe*. My phone, in case, with fun blue jay pin, my probably illegal butterfly knife that i've owned for years and years.... Then, from my little inside pocket...lime-green post-it pad and a little pad of white paper in the flowered cover. It looks like a matchbook but it's notepaper - so neat! Next to that is my sewing kit from the Raddison hotel, and then emergency safety pins, spare front door key, nail clippers, toothpicks, sunscreen wipes, and a lighter. Wheeeee!
Yeah, yeah, okay. You can wake up now. :)
kamikazeremix fic is *done*, they're posting on the 7th, yayay! And it's lovely and cool here, and we still have kittens on the porch, and.......that's all. :)

Well. *I* might. Heheh.
Thanks again! I might eventually get past this, with more therapy from other sane minds like yours.

As if i would be that petty.
It's a pity you can't 'distance' yourself. I'd sit and watch the show with you and not say a peep about any sort of brotherly anything, if you really wanted to watch it. It's not like i prance around the living room crowing about how 'now they're gonna fuck!' or anything.
So, you know, any time you want to watch, speak up. There are tons of things to be happy about in the show that have nothing whatsoever to do with the boys and their imaginary sex lives. *And plenty of their 'real' sex lives as we're shown early on that Dean is a playa'.*
