Hullo! 'Changes' has been updated! I have inserted a bit of the 'Angel' story into this, so be warned. Angel season...three, i think?
Timeline slightly screwy as well, vis a vis Angel, so...

I'm all funky, since i've spent the whole weekend at my mums without benefit of my flist!

Terrific chapter. Only now you're going quite AU so will you steer back towards canon or have you bid farewell to it?
I could just hear Oz's "*Dawn's pretty scary, actually,* Oz thought" as if Seth was saying it.
Would love to see a scene with Spike and his little "uncle" or "nephew"--however Connor is related to him.
I see you have solved the problem of Mrs Kroger's exit. Now there's only one teeny quibble--I believe Katrina was a brunette. Perhaps in your AU she had a dye job before she met her doom.
Anyway I look forward to more. And don't forget "Credence".

Thanks! No, not gonna drop canon, no fear! Just had to AU the 'Angel' 'verse - it was too bleh. Plus - Buffy needs someone to talk to and in my 'verse, she doesn't have Spike to beat up, so...

Was she brunette? Hrmmmm... I could have sworn a kind of dishwater-blonde, but hey - it's been ages since i've seen that ep.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Even though things are still screwed up and what not, it's so nice to have these brief respites where everyone is at peace, if only for a little while.

Oh, and THANK YOU for the Wesley/Gunn action! And yeah, Connor not being sucked into a hell dimension and having ridiculously extreme "daddy-issues".

Thank you for making that whole AtS season 3 stuff better. Shady, untrusting Wesley bothered me SO much. Plus, I love that your Tara is so quietly strong and doesn't even know it yet, as well as the Buffy/Angel closurey thing you've got going. Excellent chap.

BTW: "Here's what we'll do, love. We'll get home and take a shower, right? Get all warm and clean. And then we'll slip into bed..." Spike got his hand under the edge of Xander's shirt and stroked the lean belly and ribs - let his fingers dip down under the waist of Xander's jeans and Xander sighed softly. "And I'll slip into you, love... And you can just sleep, love, just drift away and I'll stay in you all night, all morning..." Xander shuddered, breathing in sharply, and his eyes flashed green at Spike, wide and wicked. Geez, are you actively trying to kill us all? So very hot.

Oooo, I was on the edge of my seat, so anxious, the entire chapter. I was waiting for something bad to happen to them! I'm glad I was wrong. I really liked how you worked the Angel stuff into this chapter. Plus, I'm glad in your world, Connor didn't have to go to Quortoth. Yay!

I'd like to wax lyrical about this chapter but I haven't been able to get the time I would like to inwardly digest it as yet, so I'll just say that what I have seen by briefly roving my eye's over it I love, you are a treasure. I will hopefully get the time to do it justice by Wednesday so I'll get back to you if that's okay?

Hope you don't mind me asking but is there to be more Hero, I think the last I read was 6 unless I missed another chapter, I'm really starting to give bats a run for their money at being optically challenged! *chuckle*

i always like Changes. there isn't a time when i don't like Changes, but i started working on the HERO screenplay over the weekend & i need to know how it ends so that i can know where i'm going. you see, i'm blending HERO & Normal Again as i seethem as 2 sides of the same coin, ya know.

ps-- don't get you're hope up of seeing the finished product anytime soon, Since i have to take it out of Joss!verse, it's going to take a while.
