Everyone else on the planet, it seems, is getting snow, while we just get high-speed, Arctically cold wind. With some rain. We had *thunder* and lightning a couple days ago. Weeird.

Is it too much, universe, for my daughter to actually get a white Christmas? She hasn't had one yet!

Anyway....I hope the Solstice was a merry one, or at least peaceful for all of you, my flist. I'm still in a sort of vague denial that it's actually only three days until the 25th. WTH, December?

I'm feeling...exhausted. And for no good reason, too. I keep having these weird dreams and night sweats, which - hey, not on! Can't tell if it's a fever - it feels like constant low-grade fever - or if 'the change' is coming early to me. Either way, i keep a towel by the bed.

I'm here, i'll be here, i may not comment a lot. I'll try! We're having low-key Xmas this year, which is awesome, and i mostly just wanna huddle over my space heater and nap.

And now - like a sort of holiday pressie, only one you *can't* share with great Aunt Gustie.... *And that's 'aunt', like 'vaunt'. Not like ant. :)* I give you smokin' hot, dirtybadwrong [livejournal.com profile] cracktrailer fic from [livejournal.com profile] sweptawaybayou.

Cherry Red. David/Jason and Jensen/Jared. Whooooooooooooooooot! :)

Enjoy, have a lovely holiday, be safe and happy and have a Merry New Year! *confetti*

We're a snow free zone at the moment too, the cold snap having gone for now.

We may have snow over New Year though.

May your holiday be a lovely one no matter what the weather!!

Right there with ya, baby. Everyone is squeeing about snow and I'm in 55 degree weather looking up at clear skies. It isn't fair. :(

I know right, where the hell did December GO? *shakes head*

It's not too late for her to get a white Christmas! *crosses fingers and toes*

Happy New Year to you and yours!

*waves*
*sweeps up confetti and recycles it back at you*
Wouldn't it be good if Christmas only happened once every two years?
It seems to be Christmas every week.

I hope she gets her white Christmas!

*hugs you* Merry Kiss Moose.

*shoves half of the snow over to you* seriously we have over a foot of the stuff, I'm totally willing to share. Also, you can completely have the -13 weather. =D

Have a very merry Christmas dear and I hope you feel better in time to enjoy it. ♥

Also we apparently pronounce Aunt the same way (I tend to add a ie at the end of mine but they trained me like that).

Edit: I have just been informed we've had a combined total of 33 inches this December and it's supposed to snow next weekend as well. DUDE YOU SHOULD TOTALLY MOVE TO WISCONSIN.

It really is, otherwise it just sounds... icky.

Well now would be the time, we had a very light winter last year but this year... well, after perusing the weather for this coming week we get snow on tuesday, thursday and friday and tonight actually.

At least the dog loves it.

Oh if you really love cold there's always Alaska, you're usually in windbreakers and light jackets by August.

Wind chill here today was 9 degrees. Yet it's supposed to rain on Christmas Eve. *sigh*

That fic was just guhlicious.

Well, it's not snowing in Paris either! The weather is quite warm actually.
And I can't remember if I've ever had a white Christmas!

I hope you'll find what's causing your not-quite-fever soon!
:)

Have a wonderful Christmas with your family!

Happily trade you, really... we have 2 foot in the yard and driveway, it took us an hour to excuvate enough to get the car out of the driveway (yehy, its a long one, but still) and on to the private road. 4.5 hours later we have made it to the grocery store for the basics and back home. A round trip if 12 miles.

Yeah, that was here a couple of years ago -- we were without power and water for 2 weeks then.

That's what we get for choosing to live in the outer areas I really do know that, but we've been hammered like three years in a row.

We've got rain and really really cold nights here. No snow. *pouts*

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU TOO DEARIE!!!

Dude, if you want our snow, you can haff it. All of it! And good riddance!
::mails you Hudson Valley's snow::

And if you're in the market for a slightly-used cold. . . .

Are the weird dreams good weird, bad weird, or just weird weird? Do you keep a dream journal?

Maybe the fevery-feeling is from a mild case of the flu?

Or an allergy to something in your environment?

Snow?
Blue skies, strawberries, blueberries and rock melon. I luv Australia, lol

I wish Monstrous could come visit us and she could have all the white snow she'd ever want! Although they are predicting 50 degree rain on Christmas Day itself, so that lovely picture outside my window will not be so pretty on the holiday itself.

I agree that your weather is *weird*. What's up with Mother Nature in your neck of the woods, huh?

You have my sympathies on the night sweats, etc. Although I'm really hoping for an early change myself. I want to get over this monthly rollercoaster hormone trip which produces so many migraines for me. Each month, one week of *lots* of meds to control pain. Yuck. Come on, menopause! I'm ready for YOU!

I've already asked my neurologist about having my parts removed and he thinks it wouldn't improve matters, but I'm going to take it up again with my gynecologist. If she thinks it would help I'll race her to the operating table and hand her the scalpel.
