Um, anyway. My hometown. HA. That Mule Trading Post has been there forever. Used to be owned by the lady who was my brother's Kindergarten teacher and her family, and they had actual mules out back, you could get a ride. They sold 'turquoise indian' jewelry and 'cowboy hats' and string ties with scorpions embedded in them and dolls and t-shirts and peanut brittle and fireworks...awesome for a kid.

Now it's a little *less* awesome, but you can still get peanut brittle.

Tabaqui is the jackal who pals around with Shere Khan in The Jungle Books. :)

Have to admit, had to have a go myself!! Lol! Though, it was very hard to find a picture for no. 9! To be honest, I was tempted to go with what i wanted to be when I was a small child... Which was a cherry tomato... Best not to ask! Lol! May have been easier to find a picture than Pathologist though!! Lol!! 1 and 12 were tres hard as well!! Heh!!

Can I ask though, what do you want to be when you grow up? I have a mini battle going on in my head as to what it is... I refuse to admit what I think it could be though as I don't want to make a complete tit of myself...

Oh and the Isle of Skye is a lovely place is it not? I have family there and I love it!! Haven't been for an age though!! No time or money!! *Sniffle*

What i want to be when i grow up is Auntie Mame! That's a picture of Rosalind Russel, and she is the *quintessential* Mame, in my mind.

I would give anything to see Skye. Someday, yes, some day....

Ah, my dad used to sing the 'Over The Sea To Skye' to me when I was little. I loved it... Then again, he also used to sing Paint It, Black by the Rolling Stones a lot as well... Huh.

Auntie Mame? Not either of the things I was arguing with myself!! Lol!! One was a conductor believe it or not... Heh! Sometimes, my imagination just completely does a runner... others it takes over altogether!!

Yes though, It was great fun... And I hope you get to see Skye someday too! May I ask why you want to go so badly? You don't have to answer, just curious...

Mame is just awesome. I adore the movie. I can only hope to be so interesting in my 'old age'. :)

I have, literally, all my life - since i can remember thinking of other places - thought Scotland was the most marvelous, beautiful, incredible place. I've wanted to go there all my life and i think Skye is kind of the sum of every beautiful thing in my imagination.

Perhaps it was the early influence of the Bay City Rollers, or Scotty on Star Trek - my first crush! I have no clue. But Scotland is the Superlative Country, in my mind.

ETA: I haven't a drop of Scots blood in me, either, unless some random Portuguese sailor took home a Scottish bride. Which...i kinda think not. Heh.
