me too! people were setting off fireworks and everything, it was amazing. we have a large-ish, politically active household, and we had people in and out all night. every time a new person came through the door we'd all scream and hug each other.

America won one! and I baked victory cookies this morning, (to celebrate the return of responsibility and integrity to the oval office, hope and ideals to the nation, and honesty and actual brains to the executive branch of government. and everybody ate them. Even the foreign students were delighted and exhausted from watching the returns. Just a giddy day.
Yay!! I'm familiar with The Sentinel. I've seen bits of episodes, but never had the chance to see them all. Not sure if i'd really love it or not, but the apparent over-the-top slashiness of it makes me happy. :)
Really? Once I started the series I couldnt stop XD I love Blair and his long hair :3 purdy. I love Jims heightened senses too *nods* Yeah the slashiness is luff! The thing with the season is they only have season 1 on DVD but XD I had to get the other seasons so I searched the web until I found someone who had it.
Sentinel fic is one of the first fandoms i ever read fic in. I was just desperate for some boy on boy and boom, there it was. I had no clue what was going on with the story at all, but it was great stuff. :)
Really? Thats interesting my first slash fandom was Spander :D teehee, then Harry and Draco, followed by animes and then I got into Sentinel. Glad I found it XD

I was seriously jonesing for boy on boy that wasn't *written* by boys, if you know what i mean. If, for instance, you've ever gone to any kind of 'erotic literature' site where there's stuff written by men for men, i'm going to assume. I just...don't like it. At all. This stuff had *plot*. And emotion. And not one mention of how big anybody was. Wheee!
After that i plunged headfirst into Sharpe - again, no clue - and Highlander. I'd watched the first Highlander movie - of course! - but never the tv show, but i was instantly in love with Methos. And then, hrmmmm....then HP and then Buffy. I've forayed into all kinds of things 'cause i'll read almost any good author. So, bandom, and LOTRps - omg, some LOTRps is so freakin' hot - and even a little anime.
