We had elections up here a few weeks back and I honestly believe that the outcome of their elections will probably have more significant effect on our lives than our own, which is so many layers of sad I cant even begin to bring myself to stop with the mourning.
So, half a day of nail-biting, or, in my case, one whole night, and there isn't anything I can do! *flails* I know, it's ridiculous how Europe is miffed at not having a say in this, but let's face it, this'll affect me more than any other election but the German ones.
I voted two weeks ago, I thought it would help, but instead I've chewed off all my fingernails and spent my days cruising the political threads at Metafilter and have not got one damned thing done.
Voted last Wednesday-and how I hate to wait- but Florida in blue-Woo hoo- it looks like it just might happen-it looks like its all gonna go the good way - I'm high on hope.
Hooray! No McCain or ...what was her name??? Her 15 minutes of fame are over. Here in Massachusetts, we also banned greyhound racing - finally! -- Debbe
