In other news, it's gotten chilly. It's sunny but windy and chilly, and the sky has become a more fragile and delicate shade of blue, and the leaves are turning and the sun is slanting just so and it's *Autumn*, people! Autumn. The gorgeous wind-chime my brother and his fiance got us is singing from the back porch, and it's so very melodic and sweet, just perfect little chimes of music.
*hugs self* Autumn!!

Also, we finally got our Obama yard sign. Yay!!

Gotta love autumn. The colors are beautiful, but I bet the wind-chime makes it all the better. Like a soundtrack.

Autumn is the bestest time of year. IN the town where I went to college, the big festival is the Autumn Leaf Festival. Northwestern Pennsylvania, near a big state forest. Trees, trees, trees.

Here in Utah, there are patches of red on the mountains where the scrub oak is turning, then yellow patches of the aspens. Most of it pine and granite, though. The mountains really need snow to look their best--which we should have by morning, with the cold rain we're currently having.

Oh, that sounds lovely. I love going 'leaf hunting' and usually come home with huge handsfuls of them. Or however you'd spell that. Heh.
