Podfic!!

No no, it's not an alien invasion! Heeeeee.

So, podfic_lover emailed me a while back and asked if i would mind my 'Wolfpack' stories being made into audio, um....recordings. Pods. Whatever! :)

And wow, i said yes, of course! I was amazingly flattered and excited, as no one's ever wanted to do *that* before. I never even read my own stuff out loud, so i was curious as to how it would sound with someone not-me sort of...interpreting it.

And so, the first three of the 'Wolfpack stories are up! Wheeeeeeeeeeee! I think she did a wonderful job. I love the pace, and the tone, and i think her accent - yes, accent - lends something to the words. Just - i'm very pleased.

YAY for podfic! This reminds me ... I've been meaning to ask if I can podfic "The Song of the Treadmill"? I've never podficced anything that long before, but I figure I can do it chapter by chapter if I have your permission. So love that story!!

I usually say 'Adult' which is probably the same as mature, basically for language and for images and then, of course, there's sex in there somewhere, hehe.

The first chapter gives the author's name of the...well, i don't know if it's a poem or a song. I first encountered it as a song, but i can't remember now what the site says. But yes, that bit at the beginning of chapter one is from 'Song of the Treadmill'.

Remix is awesome!
Say i take your 'Scorpius meets Harry' fic, only i re-write it from Harry's pov, and from ten years later. Or whatever. The author doing the remix can't change the basic story - i can't make Scorpius in love with James or whatever - but can change time, pov, etc. Just...cool stuff.

And skeery stuff. :) So, you know....beings my fic i offered up is long and stuff... *!!*

I would love to move to the east coast. I would love to live in Boston, or near Hampton, or in Maine, ohgodyes....

My dad's family is from Mass. We spent summers on Hampton Beach. I miss it so damn much.

It sucks to worry about if your mom can pay her bills. It's damn terrifying.
