I saved this to read for after the holidays and it got lost in the morass, and now that the final chapter is up I'm finally getting to it.
It's hard to choose among such riches but I have to say that I think this story might be my favorite of yours. Which is odd since I have never read the original Peter Pan. But having studied a fair bit of folklore, and read so many fairy stories, it resonates strongly, and the language (as always with you) is so very beautiful, each chapter touches me deeply. The scene with Hook cradling Pan as he dies was particularly strong.
