It's all new to me! I told [livejournal.com profile] sweptawaybayou that i'd write down stuff, and i haven't, and so, i'm lame.

But now i WILL. Only, behind the cut 'cause there are spoilers and who knows? Somebody out there might not have seen this stuff yet.
*yeah right*

Up to
I'm not going to go ep by ep, but just some observations. Wow - Darla and Angel? Someanttobe. I so did not believe Angel when he said he wasn't in love with her - never had been. Get real, Angel! She's your OTL 4evah! And Darla - seems to be getting tired of the game.

Lindsey is damn fun. He's obsessive, jealous, possessive...and he wants Angel BAD. So bad. Heh. Although, Lindsey in his shit-kickers and fleece coat, knocking the crap out of Angel with a sledgehammer? A beautiful thing.

At long last, i got to hear him sing! Wow. Just - yeah. Wow.
And Lorne! I only knew the unhappy, depressed Lorne of season five - this Lorne! He's so cool! So fun! Such a damn good singer! Oh, man. I adore Lorne.

The Wes/Gunn lurve? Just lovely. Their 'homeboy' handshakes and short-hand talk...love it. After Angel stopped acting like a complete asshat and came back? I loved how they ignored him. Petty, but fun.

It was utterly hilarious to see Wesley revert to Sunnydale Wesley the Watcher when Harmony came to visit. Heeee! Snapping her gum! And the little flirty smiles and finger-wiggling between her and Gunn? Too cute!
Plus - she put sugar in her blood. Heeee!

Angel trying to make it up to the gang is endearingly lame. He's so socially awkward it makes you wanna pat him on the head and tell him to go to his room. *snerk* But oh - i did feel sorry for him when Cordy said they weren't friends anymore. He looked desperately lost and sad.

I hate how one brief talk with his father can make Wes feel totally lame and lose all his confidence. *stabs Roger W-P* Bastard. And poor Gunn! Lost his friend - losing the respect of his old crew - obviously torn between the Angel gang and his neighborhood/childhood friends. Gah.

Adored Lindsey's 'evil hand!' freak out at the meeting when he announced he was leaving. He kept ruffling 'Charlie's' hair! And the evil hand goosed Lilah! Heeee. For an evol lawyer? Lilah has the heart of a chicken. Wow.

Angel's jealousy at the club over Lindsey's singing was too fun. Dork! The three-way mental masturbation between Wes, Gunn and Angel over Cordy in a barely-there bikini was...creepy but fun. Loved how Angel was strangling the handle of the axe he was holding. Heeee.

Fred! Oh my. Get to see Lorne's homeworld next time around - neat! Let's see...what else... I think that's it. I'm having fun, it's all good, don't anybody remind me it ends in utter ruin. :)

Okay, here's the really weird thing about Joss's world. No matter how many times I see an episode, I still thrill to hear what others have to say about it. Of course, maybe that's the weird thing about me - I also like to watch the previews for movies I've already seen. Hmmmm... anyway, I love your thoughts on this season, and I feel like I've just watched it all over again. Thank you for sharing!

Oooooh YES!

The sledgehammer fight? So much sexual tension. *dies* and Angel showing up when Lindsey left? Priceless. Two of my very favorite moments. Along with them kicking ass together at the "health club" to find the owner of Lindsey's evilevilkillkill hand. They made an unbeatable team. And Darla, as much as she loved Angel ... knew it. She could see the attraction between them.

*bounces*

I can't wait to hear more!

**adores you**

You are so lucky to have new stuff to watch as a virgin!

I love that you're doing this now - feel like I got to relive all of Buffy through Snow and now Angel with you!! Remembering all the things that made such an impression at the time as well as seeing things through your eyes I missed the first time round.

*sighs happily*

So, since I've never seen any of Firefly (though I did see the sneak preview in Vegas and met Joss Whedon and Summer Glau omfg /squee) - do I need to watch it and review that disc by disc? If so, then YAY!! One season is so much easier! I knew one day my laziness would pay off in the end!! *twirls*

Darla and Angel? Love that defies all else, seriously...right there with you on that one! And Lindsey!! OMFG Wes/Gunn and charming loungey Lorne with the lack of angst and the joy and and and and...

I so need to dust off my dvd's and rewatch all of them. So so much need.

*smooches you all up*

*sighs* She's such an enabler...love that about her.

Will gladly wait for your recaps and reflections on Firefly!

I look forward to further lurid details of your deflowering...

My Lindsey-love began in the first episode he appears in, when he shoves his business card into Angel's pocket. (or was it the other way around? I'm fuzzy on that detail.)

The "I'm sorry" speech from Angel gets me every time, as does the hill billy drawl from Lindsey when he's demanding to know what Angel had done to Darla.

Ah-haaa! You're here too, with the Angel, ah? Don't you *love* Wes and Gunn? I swear, they're my favorite! If done right, they are so good together!
And Lindsey and Angel? mmmmmmm!
