Just started this, because really - there's way too much fic out there that i want to read part five of, or ten of, or whatever, and i can't 'cause it's a login-only kinda thing.

I'm selfish that way.
Who knows - this may or may not have entries, we'll see how self-absorbed i get!

Do you know, when you have really horrible eyesight, like i do, you can't actually make your eyebrows look good? I mean - take off the glasses, i can't SEE the eyebrows. Put the glasses back on, i can't GET to the eyebrows.
So, i have to pay someone to rip them off with wax. Heh.
Which actually works pretty good 'cause... Quick and easy!
Blergh. Should have made a LATER appointment, though. I wanna SLEEP.

Some people fiends-lock their journals (or certain posts) so only those on their friends list can read them. Some communities are also locked, ie members only.

You might want to consider adding these to your friends list:

bloodclaim - my Spandercentric community
sxandviolence - another Spander community (not much action here atm)
open_on_sunday - a Jossverse community which issues a 100 word drabble challenge every Sunday and closes the challenge about 36 hours later
sick_chicks - you might want to go and read the info page before asking to join cos, well, the name pretty much says it all. Hee!

You'll see a fair number of writers popping up in these communities and can check out their journals, unless they're locked. Then you need to friend them and hope they friend you back (thus unlocking their journal) or you can try to contact them and beg. ;o)

Your friends page can make you lose hours and hours peeking into other people's lives. And you can find yourself posting the most absurd things. And the fic is amazing!

I hope you don't mind if I friend you. :o)

Heh. All new and weird to me. I keep reading stuff on other LJs and sometimes they look one way and sometimes another and i'm thinking it's free vs. paid accounts but i don't really know!
Thanks for the recs, i prolly will add them...'cause i need more fic to read!!

Ah, the joys of customization. You can do wonderful things with your journal. (Or you can get other people to do wonderful things, which is my way ;o)) The different layouts can be tweaked even in unpaid accounts, and paying for a short subscription means you can alter your layout to get it perfect and when the paid time is up it stays the way you made it!.

Goto manage > customize and then just have a poke about and see what takes your fancy.

I can recommend willshenillshe as a damn good read! Go to her info page and click on memories. The slashed sonnets are works of art, and the pierced!verse ones... ::drools::

OOh we can start a new tv series, now that the other Friends is out of the way! Hee hee!

I have several pics for my LJ, but if you have a free account you can only keep three in your files. There are LJ communities that share pics too. You just have to hunt around for them. This one is Choo-choo Bear, a pink amoeba like cat that eats panties, keys, small children and Mexican Sex-Dwarfs from Something Positive.

I want an icon that's just something...weird and different.
I don't want pictures of Spike or anything. I mean, i DO, but i can't HAVE them.
