piratepurple, who writes Teh Spander and is an overall 'spiffy person'. Well, she has a daughter, who has the opportunity to go away to *Rome* with her class. Her daughter is 12, and this is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, you know?
Anyway,tsavoritegarnet and i were talking, and hoping that the vast network of luuuuurve that is lj could help out. By donating fic, or simply donating, or tossing out ideas about fundraising - anything. I, myself, would happily write fic for this. Of a certain kind. ANYway...check out this post, it has all the info, and lots more details. This isn't a 'omg, we need this now, now, now!!!' kind of thing, but the sooner the better, you know? I hope this can work! I wish i wasn't broke. But i hoor my talents out!

In fic news, there is a Supernatural writer whom i greatly enjoy reading. Today ispoisontaster's birthday, and i wrote fic for her! It's SPN, gen for now - not *quite* finished. It's a kind of speculative AU thing, wherein we wonder 'what would things have been like if Sam's 'powers' had manifested from babyhood?'
