Yes yes - guess who got to reinstall windows yesterday??

Mostly, it worked. BUT. My email was all wonky for a while, so it's possible you emailed me and i lost it. Or never got it. It also reset some mail so that i'm missing some stuff so - if in the last, oh, four days you sent me something really important and i NEVER GET BACK TO YOU, or you commented and i totally ignored, that's why.

*sulk*

But i'm all back, shiny and new, and everything WORKS like it's supposed to except for i canNOT download a file from anyone on Yahoo. *sigh*

Otherwise, all good.

*passes the ice cubes* Totally sympathize with ya'. Had to reinstall twice last year. Inevitably something gets screwed up.

Also? Ha! It's unusually cold here today. Relatively speaking, anyway. Last week it got upwards of 105 to 110F, and today it's only 82. Hence the extra ice cubes laying around. *gr*

Anyone having to reinstall Windows deserves an honour medal!

And lost files are the bane of my existance. I have had to reinstall so often, I have actually developed a preparatory routine of burning *all* files I might possibly want again on CD before I do anything. A lesson learned the hard way... :-(

Had to laugh I'm doing so much reconstruction around the house I really thought you meant you replaced windows at your home! Silly me - cause I'd really love to replace my windows, sigh.

Oh, poor baby! If we weren't such slaves to these infernal machines, they wouldn't be so hard on us. I've replaced my modem 3, count em, 3 times since I got this new one three months ago. Four comps before this one and never a modem problem. With this one, a squirrel spits in Iowa and my modem takes to the fainting couch.
