I was recced to this story and OMG! So so good! The picture of the world that this Dean lived in was so vivid I could see everything. I adored how Sam and Dean fit together, even if they weren't each others Sam and Dean. It really felt like an alternate SPN to me - all the charachters were so much themselves, while being different.
