Yeah, I can see how the outsider point of view would be interesting to write - it is both testament to the impact these characters have on other people's lives, and a chance to develop an original or minor character - like, as if the camera suddenly homed in on one of the extras and followed them for the day, instead of concentrating on the leads. Like Jane Davitt's Dalton fic. In this case, it results in a totally different perspective on the boys - to see the impact of their actions, without having the understanding of why they act that way. I really love this.
