I'm the person who had made a bet with herself about Rafe - I won, but this doesn't detract one iota from the power of your story, from the suspense, and the beautiful writing. You go for "less is more" which imo is always a wise choice. So, no wings, no heavenly choirs, and most of the climax is off-stage. Many, many thanks.
