Did they really get back "their" souls? I don't seem to remember anything in particular about Angel, but I think there might have been a line in the beginning of season seven when crazy basement Spike responded to Buffy calling him William... But that could be attributed to him being crazy and confused, I guess. It's hard to tell.
I was counting "Changes," since a soul was involved though it was a different situation. I was more referring to the mental presence of "William" as a separate, individual voice in Spike's head, and the way that things got loud in there sometimes with the conflict from all the different mental input, than to the presence of the soul itself.
Either way, you've done an excellent job with a really fresh, novel portrayal of the boys, so... Write more!
