Ah. K. Sort of. I'm still a little confused...cleaning fumes? heh.
I think - Xander on the show was SMART. He always had some comeback or quip to make a lot of it fell OUTSIDE the realm of pop culture. But he DID do extremely poorly on his SAT's *i know* and his grades were never too hot, from what i gathered. Some sort of learning disability suggested itself mostly because of his 'class clown' thing, his grades, his SAT's, and his not going on to college.
Pure speculation and fantasy on my part, of course, but it just seems to fit with the smart kid he is.
And yeah, the memory thing seemed like the right way to go. :) Thanks! Heh.
